Wow,
It totally amazes me at how fast time fly's. We have started homeschool, finally. It has taken us a while to get up and running. Mostly due to finances.
We are using paces for our youngest son that our oldest son didn't use. He went on to bigger and better things. He is going to a tech college later this year. Currently he is working, GED etc. He had a lot of unused curriculum. (a blessing in disguise. I bought our youngest two books to give her a month of brushing up and then we will (Lord willing) Get her into her 8th grade curriculum. The brush up has been good for her.
Our oldest daughter is getting married. She has met a wonderful preacher from PA. They will be married on March 21. We are so thankful to God for bringing Joshua into our lives. He has been preaching for his congregation for almost two years. So I joke about it....but we will be taking donations for the wedding.:)
Our daughter started the wedding planning with a smaller budget, that she grew and grew and grew and then she came to her senses and scaled it back again. :) Wow, anyone who has planned a wedding knows how quickly it can get out of hand. Stay tuned....we haven't spent a dime yet....we will see. :)
Hope homeschool is going well for all of you. Renee

Congratulations on gettting a new son-in-law. Sounds like God is going to bless you with a great one. When you get blessed with a Christian in-law, that is truly a blessing.
We weren't, and their marriage is already showing signs of trouble. Pray for them. Their names are Codey & Amanda.
Glad you all had a great time on your camping trip also. Hate to hear that it rained the last morning. That could be a drag. As for packing & cleaning up, I was blessed. I began packing & then my DH said he would finish it while my DD & I went to get us a shower. Thank God for my wonderfully hubby.
Hope to hear from you again soon. Blessings, Traci

Dec. 25, 2008 - Another Wedding?

Hi Renee!
For the past two years it seems we have been through several weddings. Does this mean that your daughter is moving to PA? My son married a couple of years ago and lives in Oklahoma City, OK. and we live in Deep South Alabama. What an inconvience! I have a six month old grandaughter that I have seen One time and I hate that.
We are in a low income situation, but if I can in the next couple of months i would love to donate to her wedding. Weddings are great in the sight of God and not to many are marring now-a-days.
I will be praying for you and also her wedding.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS"
May God Bless You and Your Family!!!
Elton
