We just returned from my sister's wedding and I am so excited!
I am the oldest of five children, but have been the only one to be married all these years. The sister who got married Saturday is not even two years younger than me. I have waited a long time for this wedding (and so has she)!
God is faithful and His timing is perfect. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a fabulous time!
The whole family participated in the wedding. I was a bridesmaid (is there such a thing as a bride's matron?), dh sang, my daughers were flower girls, my son was the ring bearer. We all had a fabulous time and the kids monopolized the dance floor with their new "cousins" (the groom's brother's kids) with whom they fell in love!
I have a zillion stories, but for now, I'll just share some pics.
Here is me with my princesses in dresses made by my mom.

This is my ds, the professional ring bearer (this was his 3rd wedding).

Here is a silly picture of me with my handsome and extremely talented dh.

This is me and the kids with my 90 year old grandma. 4dd3 was out of smiles and the straps on my dress refused to stay in place! (Notice the girls' red cheeks from all their dancing...good thing we're not Southern Baptist anymore ;) )
