Perhaps this is old news to some of you, as it originally aired on Oprah in January of 2006, but this is my first introduction to this group of North Carolinians who adopted 31 children from Liberia. Isn't that a great story? During our process I corresponded some with one of the moms in that group. We have 2 CDs that the boys' choir made before they were adopted. They're great. Our little Liberians love them.

I have not seen these videos, or heard this story.
We have a large Liberian community in Des Moines.
Several of them work at the hospital as housekeepers. One of them asked if I would adopt some children from Liberia. It is hard, and remain in prayer for them and their country. Sometimes it seems like the world and it's needs are so big.
