This again is for those who have not been following our personal blogs or for those who are that want a little bit of information about us.

Birdie and I have been married over 15 years and we have five children one of which is in heaven with Yeshua.  We have Ditto (our oldest at 14), then Pookie (she is 11). Both of them will be posting entries here from time to time. We also have Sneefurt (he is 7), Puddleglum (he is 5), and Samuel (went to be with Yeshua after 38 weeks gestation). We are a home educating family of the eclectic variety. Meaning that we have found the best approach to educating our children is to tailor what they learn and when they learn it based upon their individual bents.

Birdie is obviously a stay-at-home mom and the primary educator of our children. When she posts here you will like her. She is funny, charming, and very engaging. She has a wonderful, and interesting view on life, but that is what I get for marrying a woman with ADD. I will let her introduce herself.

I on the other hand am more serious. I do have a sense of humor, but it rarely shows in my writing.  I am currently occupied as a test technician in a major medical instrumentation company, but my real calling is a ministerial calling. I will talk about it some here and will cross post some of my writing on my personal blog here as well.  I refer myself a prophet because my calling is not that of a pastor or ministry leader, but of some one who is dedicated to spreading the truth of Yeshua’s gospel. (A side note here I use the names of Jesus fairly interchangeably. I prefer using Yeshua, as that name is His Hebrew name.) Most of what I write here will be my personal stuff, like my struggles to learn archery (my new hobby), my political rants, comments on the news, or how I am coping with the recent loss of our youngest child.
