Tuesday, April 25, 2006 - Boys Will Be Boys

Boys will be boys...its true!  No matter what activity you get them involved in, their inner little demons kick in...err, I mean, their wonderful spirited ways, of course.

Take these pictures for example.  I was watching my younger brothers and sisters.  My sister wanted to play doll house, so I told the boys to amuse themselves nearby for a few minutes.  Littlest brother chimed in, "Oh, we can play doll house too!"  Okay, sounds good.

Grandma doll figure--she looks kind enough, right?  Sweet, the kind of grandma that gives you cookies and lets you do what you want?

...but apparently, she in some way made the grandchildren mad at her, because after five minutes of play time with my little brothers, she looked like this:

Anyway, it cracked me up. Another proof that boys will always be boys!

yes, boys will be boys. Did they also stick one of grandma dolls legs out straight and go "ka boom" and all those other gun like sound effects? You know that's how boys play barbies. Poor grandma.

It did remind me of something funny though.....once, when my husband was doing maintenance at at apartment, the potty was clogged......and when he finally got to the "root" of the matter, it was an.................


ALF doll!

P.s., the red font is hard to read on your Casting Crowns entry. You know those are complimentary colors, and it plays tricks on your eyes. Maybe you planned it that way. I personally love the color combination.
