Prohibition Postcard

I was just reading Steve Walden's blog online and he inspired me...so here's a list of a few things I've been thinking about or questions I'm pondering.

1. What kind of person names his blog "the mango times" and doesn't like mangos?

2. When did I move from "DON'T DO THAT!  YOU MIGHT HURT YOURSELF!!!!" to "Don't worry dear, if he hurts himself, I'm sure it won't be life threatening"?

3. Why is it called an "autoharp" when it doesn't play itself?

4. Why did I choose that image for this post?

5. How many more books can I try reading at the same time?

From Proverbs 30...

There are three things which are too wonderful for me,
Yes, four which I do not understand:
The way of an eagle in the air,
The way of a serpent on a rock,
The way of a ship in the midst of the sea,
And the way of a man with a virgin.

first, if all you wanted was a comment or response, you just had to ask...you don't need to bait me so hard...

i'm actually posting an "origin of the name" blog here in the near future... if it were going to truly be named after me, it would be called preschoolersandpeace - paternal version...

autoharp, huh? from the stories i've heard about laundry room catastrophes and undergarments dropped in the middle of the avenue...i pictured her as an electric guitarist...

the postcard is great...your tri-post of photo/content/verse is a fantastic "theme." your pics are some of my favorite...

however...probably the most interesting aspect of this post are the words of Solomon from Prov 30...

mangoless...did i mention it's peach season in our orchard here?
"The Peach Press" - lame...although, the "FuzzBuzz Times" sounds really good!

#2 - From what I've observed tends to happen around when the third child is born, which is also the time where the parents stop boiling a pacifier when it falls in the dirt, opting to just wipe it off on their shirt and stick it back in the kids mouth.

Occasional thoughts and dialogue on Biblical fatherhood and family life to the Glory of God with a little mirth thrown in for good measure.
