Karina Faith, 2007

There is a family that we've started to get to know that gave birth in July to a baby girl with a agressive tumor on her face.  Her story has made news here in Illinois due to the unusual surgical procedure she underwent while partially delivered by C-Section.

This dear couple have seven other children and live in Western Illinois, but have had to uproot their lives while doctors here in Chicago try to figure out the best approach to dealing with the tumor.  There has been one delay after another in this process and it looks like little Karina and her mother may have to stay in the hospital until at least the middle of September.  

Our heart breaks for these sweet people, and it makes any of the delays or inconveniences in our lives insignificant.  Please join us in praying for this family.
