My thanks to Fletch for sending these excellent photographs along.  He has captured the essence of these magnificent birds.  The composition of these photographs demonstrate the monochromatic nature of their lives and the endless search for carion.  The dominant analogous color scheme of beige, tan and sand draws the viewer into these tragic lives.
