Online Learning - What have I learned?

Online Learning Review

I received this review from a new Time4Learning member and thought that I would share it.....

My 3 year old son is a very advanced 3 year old and I was having a hard time finding a daycare that could challenge him.  The biggest problem was his age.  He is born in December so he would always get grouped with kids that were younger than him..  He was so much more advanced than they were but out of 3 daycare centers no one would move him up.  He was not going to be able to even start preschool until he was almost 4 again because of his birthday.

I thought that was such a waste of time so I decided to enroll him in an online home learning  program - Time4Learning.com - and work with him at home.  It is excellent. I am so pleased!  He has progressed more in the last month than he has in the last several months in daycare.   It has gone so great that I enrolled my nephew.  He is in kindergarten however my sister was extremely dissatisfied with the level of education he gets.  He uses Time4Learning.com as an enrichment program while he continues his primary schooling in public school.

The lessons on this program are so great for young people.  They really help the child to learn concepts that are boring to learn. In the case of my nephew, learning phonics was the biggest problem.  However, with Time4Learning.com,  it is as though they are playing a game the whole time.  It is really fun for them! He enjoys learning to read.  He was spending hrs on Saturday morning learning reading with his mother.  But now he can spend shorter time doing things that are fun for him.  This is no only less time consuming for the parent (as it is set up pretty much so kids can do it on their own) but less frustrating.  How many times have we all gotten upset because  kids does not seem to be getting a concept that we feel is basic?

Because of the success with both my little son and my nephew I enrolled my oldest son.  He is 13 and is using Time4Learning.com for 7th grade.  He is bored to death in school.  He just barely gets by due to lack of motivation.  He is now using Time4Learning.com as enrichment to the schooling is already getting.  He has just started but in a short time I can see that he is much more interested in learning in general than he was even a week ago.  We are focusing on math and language arts.  He will learn things that will put him well ahead of the game. Time4Learning.com really makes learning easy and fun.  It helps kids to want to learn.  They realize that learning does not have to be work or drudgery.  I think it is an amazing program and it has definitely helped and will continue to help my children.  You can’t beat the price either.  I am very satisfied with this online teaching service.
