I know many of us are in a state of extreme disgust over the results of the election.  However, i encourage you to get down on your knees and pray thanks be to God that he can not be thrown from hi throne.  Even though Americans have made choices that may not be in our best interest, God is still God and he will guide us through this.  I encourage and challenge you to get on your knees and pray for the people who HAVE been elected.  Nothing is lost when God is involved. 

This is from a forum, written by me.  I wanted it saved somewhere, so the next time I hear someone bashing the elected officials, I can come here and get a few suggestions. LOL  I don't always agree with the officials, but know that we chose them.

As I sit here this morning after a long day yesterday sitting on the edge of my seat watching the numbers flip flop around, I am sadden that so many of this Nations people are blinded by the mudslinging that went on over the last several months. However, I do believe that with God all things are possible, and there in the end could be some good that can come out of this. In order for this to be a good thing we all are going to have to be on our knees praying that God's will be done! We need to all be watchmen for our country! This election hit hard on this nation. I want to challenge each and every Momy to take 10 mins out of your day everyday until the next election to pray for our country. I believe with prayer this election will not be near as devistating as we are believing it is now this morning after. I challenge each of you to help find and motivate leaders that would be better in our leadership roles then what have been elected at this point.

I kind of have kept this low key here until yesterday in my Homekeeping post, but I was involved with a local state rep campaign. I made calls, emailed, talked to people, distributed flyers, and researched info about the opponet. It is a stressful job, but I believe after the final count my efforts will not have been a waste of my time. Right now there will be a recount the current count has the guy I have been campaigning for at 19 votes ahead. I encourage you to get involved, this has been an awsome experience for our entire family. My 7 yr old ds now knows more about our country's government then I did before this election. LOL I ask each of you to pray for conservative leaders who will run in our next election. I ask you to encourage them, and get involved with their campaigns. This is more important then you may realize. We can not sit here and complain about who was elected if we don't get involved more then just going to the polls. I know without the efforts of the team of people I have worked with things would be different here. I will now get off my soap box, and get busy around here.
