Our Adoption Adventure

We are headed to the airport

James and the children are on the last flight to get them home.  They are all so tired.  James had to carry Agatha from one plane to the last one.  He couldn't get the poor sweetie to wake up.  The other three stumbled from the plane and followed Daddy but he said they were barely hanging on.  They hit severe weather in Chicago and their original flight was cancelled, but they made it through customs and immigration.  It is only by the grace of God that they made the last two connections.  They haven't had anything to eat most of the day.  I could hear the relief in James' voice as they were boarding the last plane.

The children, my mom and I are heading out in just a few minutes to go to the airport. We are all excited and the children are a little nervous.  The older two are worried about whether our Liberian children will like them.

I wanted to thank everyone who has left comments in the last couple of weeks.  Your encouragement and caring comments have meant so much.

I will tell you all about the homecoming as soon as I can.

God Bless,

Carri

Hi
I was just looking around at blogs and stumbled upon yours. What a blessing to be adopting four children. We have adopted two from the foster care system here in the states.
Blessings,
