Our Annoucement

The exciting news is we went camping this weekend!!!.  It was our first trip camping as a family of 11 and we had a great time.  Everyone loved being dirty and not getting in trouble for it (and boy, were they dirty).  We had so much fun and will being doing it again soon.

Now for the real annoucement.  No we aren't pregnant, but we are hoping to have another child.  We are starting the adoption process again ( this time locally) with a particular child in mind.  We are hoping to adopt a girl we have known about for some time, but had been told she was placed.   She is in the foster care system and is 9 years old.  I am working on the application for adoption as fast as I can, and we are going to training in two weeks to become licensed foster care parents.  In Nevada you must be licensed foster parents before you can adopt a child in care. 

Please pray our fingerprinting will go quickly and that the homestudy will be completed fast.  We are very prayerfull that she will be able to come home to us but there are other families that may be interested in her and so we will wait and see.

So this is why we have decided to keep the blog going for awhile longer as we once again enter the adoption process.  I will try to update often.
