A few days ago our little cat named Tribble almost got hit by a car. We were playing outside and he got scared and ran across the street. There was a car that was going too fast. He ran right by the wheel. We did not know if he got hit or not. He ran away. Here is a few pictures of him: This is him when he was a baby.He sleeps like a rock.
We were so worried that he had been hit and killed. He was gone for almost two days when my Mom went outside to look for him just before she went to bed. He was sitting on the front porch! He was not hurt. But he was still very scared. My Mom and Dad brought him inside and pet him. At first he would not let them pet him. He would just jerk his head away. But after a while he let them pet him. In the morning all the kids were SO happy. Now he will still jump at any loud sounds, but he is mostly normal.
Our little kitten Troy died last week. He died in the night. We had him for almost one week. He looked like he was getting better. Polly went into where we were keeping him and looked inside his box. He was already dead and stiff. We buried him in our front yard later that day. He loved being held. He also loved playing outside in our front yard with us. His favorite food was dry cat food soaked in water. Yuck! Poor, poor kitten. Whenever he was not being held he would meow and meow until someone went and picked him up. I am glad that Troy died in his sleep and did not suffer at all.
Today we found a kitten on our street. He was starving and sick. We fed him some wet cat food and gave him some water. He ate most of it. My Dad said that we could keep him! My Mom gave him a bath in the sink. I don't think he enjoyed it. He looked funny when he was wet. We still don't know what we will name him. He is so light and bony. He only weighs 12 1/2 ounces! I hope he will get better.
On Wednesday we went to the dirt dunes by our house. Jack took a bad fall and cut his lip. This is what that fall gave him. Missy went down the highest ramp there was. We had a few more falls but no one got hurt. Troubles had fun, too. Also, our pet Sun Scorpion named Sunny died. Poor him.
I am sorry I have not posted for . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .well, ever. I have decided to do an update for my Grandma. (Because she always likes to know whats going on) Well, we did a toy sort. A toy sort is a once in awhile thing that we do (I wish we did it. . . . . less often). First we take out allllllll the stuff in our rooms a bring it out into the family room. Then we bring out all our toy tubs, the tubs we keep all our toy sets in. And then we sort, all the stuff that was in our rooms that we can put in the tubs goes, well, in the tubs. Then we go through all the toys and take all the stuff that we want out. Then we say bye - bye to the rest. To the garbage it goes. Woe is it. Then we put all the tubs away and spend a few hours on cleaning our rooms. But it is nice to come into a clean room.
We also cleaned off all the weeds of our go-kart, and my Dad is trying to fix it, he thought its carburetor needs cleaned, but we tried that and it did not work. The go-kart will start and drive for about ten seconds then turn off. Then we have to get out, turn it back on and drive; then do it again because it will shut off again.
My Mom wants to start a garden in our back yard, so we cleaned up all the weeds (Which the go-kart was tangled in) and fought numerous wasp nests! My friends Mom gave us one hundred thirty nine stone pavers. And we bought seventy of the kind of bricks that are used to make the walls on the freeway. My Dad made a nice garden box with the bricks, and a pretty walk way with the pavers. My Mom said that we might get our own 3' by 3' garden boxes, but, my Dad is still thinking about it.
And I am going to be thirteen in a few days! I still haven't decided what I want for my birthday. But I might want a game called Hero Scape: It is a game in which you create a game board chose your character. Each player gets a certain number of dice and they are your, attack roll and defense roll. You fight and eliminate your opponents characters. It is difficult to play but REALLY fun. My Dad taught me how to play it. Jack and Missy had their birthday. My parents got them each a skate board, a helmet and a box a candy. All of us got them each something.
My praying mantis is STILL alive. They are supposed to die in the fall but my praying mantis is ancient! I feed her crickets and flies and that kind of stuff. She laid two egg cases. I pretty sure she is going to die before the new mantis' hatch. Jania: My praying mantis Jania.
We also have a kitty who sleeps like a rock: His name is Tribble. We had a batch of kittens and he is the only one we kept. He will sleep if you hold him up like my Dad is, he does not even open up his eyes! He sleeps like a rock! Well, I'm done .
Hi! Today I am going to write about our kittens! Kittens are so cute, right? My family and I have two cats. A old man ( name:Boy, but I call him Puddy) who is the same age as me; and a young little girl named Twister. Twister just had kittens; four of them. I broke my second wrist. Someone. . . . . I will not say their name, ran out with a bike in front of me and my bike; I hit their back tire and went head-over-handlebars! I broke my wrist but did not shed ONE tear! This is my cast after my sugar splint:

Last night we did a cool experiment with dry ice. My mom got a little bit of it, I poured water in the bowl with the ice in it and this happened: I kept the cup in my hand and scooped up some foggy stuff. I poured it out but the picture of that was a big blur. Here is us playing with the fog. Ha ha ha. The fog felt like you were touching nothing.
My family and I went to Kit's house today for SuperGirl's tea party! I'm not used to drinking tea so it wasn't the best thing in the world, if you see what I mean. They had two types of tea, Black and wildberry. I liked wildberry better than Black tea. Kit likes Black tea better than wildberry. I had a fun time. We had cookies and other stuff. The cookies where so good dipped in tea (Wildberry not Black). Only the girls got to go to the tea party, the boys drove cars all around the school room. We talked in the tea room, Polly spilled my tea on me and Kit, and all over the table, AND on Kit's cloak. We cleaned it up and we did a small craft. All in all I had fun. I had a great Christmas!!! I got everything I wanted and even better!!!
I wanted a drawing set with oil pastels, watercolors, and colored pencils! But I got and WAY better set! It had only oil paints, small canvas, three paint brushes, a thing for mixing paints, two white plastic things that look like very small shovels for mixing paints and it all came in a big painting easel (tabletop!)! I also got 48 oil pastels in another present, I got 120 crayons, with a cute crayon sharpener from miss Banana. (we draw names and get things for the person we got) I also got two HUGE painting canvases. I am painting a picture of a Christmas tree. I will show you it when I am finished with it.
We went to Sacramento for Thanksgiving! We had to go through a four hour drive. But the reward was a delicious dinner of ham, turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, biscuits and pies of all sorts, YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY YUM! We had only one cousin but now we have TWO!! One cousins name is D for short, and the baby's name is K for short. I held babe K a lot and played with D a lot.
We left on Thursday and we slept on the living room floor. I slept like an angel (For sleeping on the floor) but I woke up when my Grandpa WHO, gets up about four in the morning to get his coffee. I stayed awake for about a hour then went back to sleep. In the morning Black Spidey and I went shooting! everyone else went to fairytale land and funderland. I am typing on our new laptop so I can't put up pictures BUT if you Click Here you can see some pictures of funder and fairy tale land.
I am truly sorry that my Dad didn't bring a camera to the shooting range so you could see my and Black Spidey shooting the twenty-two pistol and the twenty-two rifle. The range was so busy the we had to wait a good fifteen minutes before we got a spot to shoot. The about a hour after we got to the range a car full of young men and one young lady pulled up next to us. I was loading my gun and then I sat down on the table between our shooting group and theirs. I had my ear muffs on so I couldn't hear much of the talking going on next to my but this is what I heard: (When you see this:..... means I can't hear)
(The young lady to the young men) "What are we doing here?" (One young man) "..........." (Lady) "....... I don't ........" (young man) " Well you are hanging with the guys. I mean look at the little girl (pointing at me) she's loading and shooting her own gun!" I felt a bit of pride (Not in a bad way) I mean someone really noticed that I was loading, shooting and then unloading my own gun! That group left and another group of young men pulled up next to us. A young man asked my Dad if he could sit on the table too. My Dad said yes, the man sat down next to Black Spidey who was shooting the rifle. Black Spidey handed me the gun and then I sat down at the table and then loaded my gun and started shooting. The man looked at me and said, "Hey you should try to keep your left elbow under the gun as much a you can." Then he got up and went to his friends and WISPERED (But I could just hear) "Look at that chubby scope in that girls gun!" When we left I said to my Dad "The guy sitting next to me said that I had a chubby scope." He said "Yeah, but did you see his scope? It was a little straw thing, Ha ha ha ha ha. But yours is about ten times stronger than his."
We went home and had pizza, and then we played out side some more. And the next day is when we go to the biggest swap meet that I have ever seen. But Grandma was still sleeping so I thought that I would stay home so I could clean up for her. Trixie and Polly stayed home too. When Grandma got up she took my to Mcdonalds to get breakfast. Then we walked down to Starbucks Coffee to get hot chocolate. When we finished that we went to a park that was about a five minute walk from Grandmas house. My aunt has a cute dog named Chai. (Ch-I) We played with Chai and then we went back to Grandmas house. In about a half an hour the rest of the family came home. We packed up and went home. All in all, Grandmas house is the funnest place in the world.
I have a sad story to tell. You know how we went on vacation for Thanksgiving? Well we had a great time, but when I came back home, I went to go see my pets and then I saw it! My baby, my pride and joy (of my pets) was DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spear was DEAD!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so sad I almost cried my head off, but I didn't cry at all. I sadly went out of my room and slowly went to my Mom. She was ordering pizza, I said "mom," then I waited "mom" I said again. "What?" she said. "Mom, Spear is dead." "Oh! I am sorry. Dad did you hear? Her scorpion died." I left and told everyone that there was a funeral RIGHT NOW . They said "For who?" I showed them, and we all went outside (everyone but Black Spidey! WHO was more interested in his new toy!) I buried my favorite pet SADLY! We said a few words and then covered his grave with flowers and then went inside. (My pet had food and water inside his cage when I buried him. So I didn't kill him) So now everybody take off their hats in respect and take a moment of silence to remember Spear Spike Scorp. We went Trick or treating this year. This is the first time in my life that we have gone trick or treating. We always just go to parties. This year we went to Kit's house for a party. Here we are in our costumes.

Mom and I made bags for our candy to go in. I helped some of the others with making their bags. Mom made some, too. Everyone except for me shares their candy in one of these bags. I just have a gallon sized Zippy bag for me.
A big tree fell on my dad's Jeep in a storm that we had on Monday> Here it is. I made dinner on that first day that we started dissecting the tree. I made dinner for 11 people, because our neighbor was here. Here we (not me) are eating in the tree. We went to the pumpkin patch and had a great time. Here we are with our very own small pumpkins for each of us. Well, I have to go. Bye!!
What do you think this is? Well, Drum roll please, tah tah tah tah tah tah tah tah! MY PET SCORPION! How I love him. : ) His name is Spear Spike Scorp . I feed him crickets, that cotton ball is his water ball : D and he lives right by my bed ( On my shelf that is by my bed).
If you hate Scorpions you are crazy, I LOVE Scorpions. I help in the nursery in my church, the lady that I help said that I was dangerous when I told her that I wanted a Scorpion. She said to babyJ "You have a dangerous sister." You know what? I got my Scorpion the very same DAY! O.K here's how I got Spear. A lady at my church always brings dead Scorpions for me to look at whenever she comes to church (Because she lives far away and her house has Scorpions as pests). She brought me two that week, one was dead and the other one she said she was trying to keep alive. The poor little thing it was so dried out but it still moved. I showed everyone in my church. Then I asked my Mom if I could set him free. She said "No" so I asked my pastor if he thought that if I gave it water it would live he said maybe. So I asked my Mom if I could keep it and do you know what she said? "No." So I asked my Dad, because he had a Huge Scorpion when he was sixteen. You know what he said? "YES". I was so happy I ran out to my Mom and said " Daddy said yes! Daddy said yes!" I rolled up a square of T.P and filled it up with water and dropped it in the zip lock baggie that Spear was in. We went home and in the car I was praying that my Scorp would not die. When I got in the house I put the bag on the counter and to my delight the Scorpion started stinging the counter! My Dad and I whipped up the glass cage and now my favorite pet lives in my room! At first GirlofGod said "You are not keeping that Thing in our room!" But then she got used to Spear being in our room. I love my pet.

The bottlenose Dolphin is gray, varying from dark gray at the top near the dorsal fin to very light gray and almost white at the underside. This makes it hard to see, both from above and below, when swimming a great camouflage. The adult bottlenose Dolphins range in length from 6 to 13 feet. Lately we've been doing school but this week we are on vacation. Lately we've been watching T.V and playing "bored" games and that kind of stuff. We've been playing in our front yard and I've been riding my roller blades and nothing else. I've been doing a story, a backwards story: Pretty cool huh?
Here is it closer: It took a while to do that story. Hold a picture like this up to the mirror and you have it right. It was a story about a little girl who's mother leaves her in the forest.

Do you know what a Chinchilla is? Well if you do thats pretty cool because most people don't. I have three Chinchillas and I will explain what a Chinchilla is. A Chinchilla is a very very very soft rodent that is about one foot from head to tail. They live mainly in Chili, Columbia, Peru and a few other countries I don't remember. Chinchillas live up in the high mountains. They became rare because they were hunted for their fine fur, a great thing for making fur coats. It took about one hundred Chinchillas to make one fur coat!! Some men tried to bring the Chinchillas back down the mountain but they went down the mountain to fast and the Chinchillas couldn't survive the quick change and they died. Then one man named Mathias F. Chapman asked the Chilean government for permission to catch some Chinchillas and breed them. The government didn't want to give him permission but Chapman insisted and then the government agreed. Chapman got the Chinchillas and then he went down the mountain slowly, so slowly that it took him a full year to get down. So because of Chapman the Chinchillas live in some houses in America. Oh, yes only three out of the eleven Chinchillas that Chapman brought to America were females. Did you know that Fleas have to feed before they reproduce? Fleas live on your pet at first and then they breed and then they live on you, your carpets and most of all your bed. Click here to see a picture of a Flea. Fleas are nasty little bugs that feed on your blood; if the word "Blood" made you feel sick I am sorry. The Flea life begins when the male and female feed and then mate. The female lays eggs in batches of twenty or so in one time. The eggs take two days to two weeks to hatch. The Flea larva emerge to feed on any organic material they can find such as dead insects. Click here to find out what a Flea larva looks like. The Flea larva are blind and they stay away from sunlight. They go into dark places like under sand, in cracks, crevices and the worst of all under bedding!
Given a certain amount of food the larva should pupate in one to two weeks. After the Fleas go through three larva stages they spin a silk cocoon. In one week or a few more days the Fleas are mature and the come out of their silken cocoons. The now Adult Fleas have about one week to find food once they emerge out of their cocoons. One Flea can survive from two months to one year on one meal!!!!

We (and in We I mean me and my brothers and sisters) played a funny joke on our friend that lives across the street from us. Our friend and my family were playing outside in my front yard, we were playing Hide and go seek back to camp. Our friend got back to camp, which was our front patio, he got to camp and rang our doorbell three times. I said "Oh-No now you did it," "Did what?" he said. You woke our Uncle Fred!!!". "Who is that?" he asked. I told him about our fake fake fake Uncle but I didn't tell him that he was fake. I went inside to go get a ice cube to suck on out of our freezer and then when I came out of the house I said "Oh look what me Uncle Fred gave me." "Lucky," said our friend. "Do you want to go meet him?" I asked. "No, I'm to shy that I woke your Uncle up," he said. We played the joke on him for some time. You can read the story on GirlofGods blog about Uncle Fred. But just yesterday (Tuesday the 2nd) my Moms friend pulled up while we were playing in the front with our friend that we played the joke on and my Mom said "Hello Uncle Fred,". So called Uncle Fred knew right away that we were playing a joke because he played along. We still haven't told that Uncle Fred is fake because the joke just got better.
On my thankful list I have: 1. My family. My family is the best. 2. My House. My house Provides shelter from the rain. 3. My Bedroom. My Bedroom lets me have my own space. 4.BabyJ. My cute little brother lets me and Black Spidey play with him all day long. 5.Our swimming pool. Our swimming pool lets have coolness and fun when it is hot. 6.Our Mom. Our Mom cooks, cleans, puts us to bed at the night, loves us and does our laundry for us (I have a share in that to). 7.Our Dad. Our Dad works for us, plays with us, he lets the four biggest play the Wii and most of all he loves us. 8. Our pets. Our pets: Boy, also known as Puddy tat. Twister and lucky, our not so kittens anymore kittens, Chia, Cheerio and Chip our chinchillas. Thats my thankful list. Oh always thank the lord for all his blessings not only on thanksgiving.
My Mom, my siblings and myself spent our morning at the park with our Daddy! YEAH! Girlofgod walked across the top of the swing set! I have a issue with heights (But I am going to become a skydiver when I grow up). I didn't want to go across but my Dad said "Conquer your fears and it will be easy." So I went across and then jumped down. My Dad showed us how to land when we jump from a high place. He said to land on your toes, then your heels and then bend your knees, and then he said if you still have energy that will hurt your back if you don't get rid of it. He said that you should roll over your shoulder so you won't hurt your self. Mom and I walked over and looked at the geese. One of them had a broken leg and the bone was sticking out of the poor things leg. I told my Mom to call park people so then they could put the poor thing out of it's suffering. We went home after about one hour or so.
This is my blog. I am a thirteen year old girl, who is the oldest of eight kids. I love to draw and color. I really like sharks, bugs and things like that. I like puzzles, mazes and sudoku puzzles. I also like the band Switchfoot.
