Well yesterday I got up and out of the house by 9am. I know I could have slept in much longer since schools out.....lol.

But I wanted to get out and work with my horse Katie(ok dad bought her but I ride her the most, other then that my mom rides her) I wanted to work with her on walking over things because she stumbles at times and I think she doesn't pay attention to her feet at times.

Then my dad came outside and helped some, then we got an orange bag to tie on the end of the longer whip. She's spooked easily and we wanted to try and work with her on that to help her out and so forth.

Dad and I worked with her for about and hour. In that time dad managed to get real close to her while she went nuts with me hangin onto the leadrope. He lost his glasses and hat. But we managed to calm her down without dad's glasses get broke OR either of us getting hurt.

Its not like she's not broke, she is but VERY head shy and whatnot.

Then my dh came home from work and took Katie and the whip/bag set up and worked with her by hisself and had that bag rubbed all over her in about 15 minutes. Dad and I joked and said we wore her down.......LOL.

 But that was worked with then they worked with her on turning, she turned left no problem but too the right she'll fight, back up and get really antsy.

So that was our exciting day on friday. Poor Katie I think was thrilled to be let back in the corral after 4 hours. Poor thing, she might not want anything to do with me....lol. But I need to work with her so that her and I get a connection better while riding.
