April 11, 2008 - Paprika ice cream and evil bugs
Yeah, I know I just posted yesterday, but I had a few funny stories to tell and decided it's best to write while it's at the front of my mind (I started to write tip of my mind but then I realized that really doesn't make sense and I must've gotten it from 'tip of my tongue' :P give me a break, I got up early this morning and hardly slept the night before.)
Ok, so anyway, we had a really awesome Bible study today. It was called "Going Deeper in the Word", it was for teens in our homeschool group. It was really fun, other than the getting out of bed at 6:30 part. :P Lots of people were there, so that was cool, and it was a great seminar thing on studying the Bible. We studied Jonah and I learned a lot about applying it to my life. I'll admit that a lot of times when I'm reading the Bible I'm just reading it, and not absorbing it, not truly studying it and seeing how it is applicable (don't ya just love that word? ;P) to my own life. A lot of times I'm even thinking about the school I need to get done or going to bed and therefore rushing through it. I hope from now on I will be better about really studying it. This year I'm reading all the way through the Bible. I think next year I will pick a few books to really study. Anyway... we were let out early so we got to hang out while we waited for our parents or whatever. I have now experienced China Man and the Many Voices of Sir Tony. :P And Tony and TJ B riding in the trash can, lol.
Moving on to more funny stories... here's one that shows how bright I am. I was eating ice cream tonight, or about to. It was chocolate and vanilla, and I poured some chocolate syrup on it, then needed something to make it pretty, so I added some green sprinkles, then reached for the red. (Thinking about it now, I wasn't going to put red on it anyway, I was going to use yellow... so I was *obviously* off in lala land.) So without paying much attention I grabbed what I thought was the bottle of red sprinkles and started shaking it... then I thought, wow, these are really small sprinkles... that's about when I came back to earth and gaped in disbelief at the PAPRIKA bottle in my hand!!!! Yeah, it's true; I poured paprika on my ice cream. Yeah, you can all laugh and make fun of me now.
Next funny story.... well actually I don't think this one is very funny either. Actually, I think the last one was funny, but I didn't think so as soon as I did it. Anyway, I like really hate bugs (ask any of the girls that were sitting at the table with me today ((or prolly some of the guys at the table behind me)) about me throwing my water bottle b/c there was a little weird bug on it), and there are some particular ones (well, kinds, not individual bugs, I can't tell them apart) that I am like deathly afraid of. Mosquito eaters and moths rank pretty high on my scared-of list (yeah, weird, I know, since those are harmless). Well, I am thoroughly convinced that the mosquito eaters around here are evil and hate me and are out to get me. Really. No, really. You don't believe me. You should. They chase me. I had a battle with one tonight. I was so sick of it flying around that when I saw it on the laundry room door I decided I was going to be brave and go see if I could shoo it in there and then close it in. Well, as soon as it saw me coming it flew right towards me and tried to eat me. Or maybe it just fluttered around and kina hit my foot, resulting in me screaming and running back down the hall, all "bravery" gone. You can choose which you think happened. :P So if anyone knows a way to exterminate mosquito eaters I would love to hear it b/c they are all trying to attack me. lol

Because... *quivering lip*... no one ever comments me. *sniff* So I would really appreciate it. *sniffle* Thanks.... DUDE!! I hate bugs, too. Roaches - I am deathly afraid. I cringe to even write the word. If you say it to me, I will get shivery. If you talk about them long enough, I will start gagging. Don't tell "Sweet -t" (Ack, I just can't call him that). Anyway, don't tell my oldest future bro-in-law that, b/c he went through this phase where he loved to see if he could make me throw up. He always got REALLY close, then I would run outside and start gagging, but never actually throw up....
But, at least he didn't try to, ya know, kill me, wink wink ;P

As for the voices and such, that wasn't entirely my fault either. Caffiene was a contributing factor. I would have done some of that by myself, but with that soda it was impossible not to. I don't think I would have ran around the room like that if it wasn't for the soda... It was fun though! ;P

anyway. i HATE bugs too. mosquitoes eat me alive. whenever i go to arkansas i just look like one huge red blob (mosquito bite). yup. it's pretty horrible. :P
once i picked up the hot sauce thinking it was my water and i actually put the tip to my mouth, and then my mouth was burning of course. but i felt like an idiot :D
