August 26, 2007 - I'M BACK!!!!!!
Hello all my dear friends!!! I am finally back on the internet and I have sooo much to tell you but unfortunately this may be a pretty short post due to an injury of some sort in my wrist. I have no idea why, but it's been really sore lately, maybe from writing a lot (having just started doing a lot of school work and such) so right now I have a brace on it which makes it a bit difficult to type. But I will try.
I see ya'll didn't miss me too much, because I only had one comment...

Okay let's see if I can get you caught up (as if you really cared what I've been doing the past two weeks! lol!) Not a whooolllleee lot, but here we go...
The 16th we had co-op sign-ups... co-op is a thing our homeschool group does where the Moms (or Dads) can teach different classes and the kids can take them... it's two hours once a week for 6 weeks... kina hard to explain but pretty fun anyhow... this year Sarah and I are kina doing a class from the Millie's Life Lessons: Adventures in Trusting God book, and we're also taking Basic Accounting. The 23rd was the first day and it went pretty well.
The 18th we had a meeting for a drama production we're going to be in, "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Some of you may know that we were in this two years ago. They took a year off and now we're doing it again. We'll have somewhere around 15 performances in December. So Saturday we found out our parts and such. I am playing the part of "Fan" this year (Ebenezer Scrooge's sister when he was a kid ((if you are familiar with the story, he goes back in time and sees himself as a kid with his sister))) anywho I'm pretty excited about it.
This week was the fair so we had some craft projects that we entered. That was kina fun.
Monday we had a prayer meeting for Fan the Flame which was awesome.
Wednesday was church which, of course, was awesome.
Thursday was co-op, as I mentioned earlier.
Friday was a meeting for Fan the Flame, which, again, was awesome. 
Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for..... dadadadahhh!!!! (okay, so not really) Saturday was FAN THE FLAME!!!!!! (duh!) Totally-awesomely-flippin-rockin-my-face-off-sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!! Some of us got there in the morning to "help" set up or whatever 
and they rehearsed some stuff then we prayed and then the ppl started getting there about 12:30 to register. We had a pretty good turn out, I don't know the number but maybe if you check Sir Warrior's blog tomorrow he'll tell you. lol... sooo many friends there!! Sunshine Princess, Jaquelynn, Callie G, Britter, Brother, Bekah, Meggy, Sarah's cuz Rachie and so many others!!! (plus the regulars of course... Sarah, Jazzy, Jael, Chrysta, and evwybuddy else!!) We had a great worship service, door prizes, Caleb's "two minute warning" (they get two minutes to give a short devo or something), then Chris gave an awesome message then we had free time/snack time, D Cash's two minute warning, then classes, then dinner, then another worship service, Tedo's two minute warning, more door prizes, Dusty's awesome message, then yet another worship service, then the bonfire service. Oookayy that prolly made no sense at all but just know this: It was a great day, everything went pretty smooth, there were lots of invitations and quite a few saved, and, most importantly, God showed up and worked in lots of ppl's hearts, including mine. Thank you, Lord, all the glory goes to You. I love You.
Then today we had church and Ethan's Grandma (if you'll remember Ethan, the little two year old boy I took care of in VBS) brought him so I got to see him and hold him for a little while and I don't know if he remembered me or not but he wasn't scared at all and still loved me!!!
Well that about wraps things up and I'd better go now.

July 31, 2007 - It's a boy! (er, that is, boys)
I am now the proud owner of 2 brand new little baby boy goats! Swanli had her kids about an hour or so ago. They are sooo cute! One of them looks *exactly* like Heidi did (and almost like she still does) and one is *absolutely adorable*, he is almost black but with a lot of dark gray specks on his neck and down the front of his chest. I think I will call that one Distelfink and the other one Turk (still going with names from "Heidi", being as we named Swanli and her twin sister whom we sold, Barli, from "Heidi" and then named Swanli's daughter Heidi (well, Adelheide Sombrita for long :P) so Distelfink and Turk are goats in "Heidi". Okay well enough of my rambling, here's pics of the cuties:

July 31, 2007 - More pics of Duke and Petunia
Well I went out to check on them this morning and they're both doing fine so far! We put them in the pasture with everyone else so their mama can graze... I'll have to go check on them every hour or so, to make sure they're doing ok and that they don't get too hot. Last time we had to worry about keeping the kids warm and dry, and now we've got to keep the flies away and try to make sure they don't get too hot! Here is a pic my sister took this morning of me holding Duke:

Aren't they just the sweetest? Okay, well, not the sweetest... Snicky and Heidi were the sweetest babies.
Poor Junior is feeling pretty rotten... he can't understand why his mama doesn't want him anymore, or what the little things following her around are! I feel bad for him, but not as bad as I do for Heidi, because...... I'm sure now that Swanli is pregnant, too... I thik she'll prolly kid today. Poor Heidi. I'll have to be sure to show her that she's still my baby.
Well I'll let you know if Swanli kids...

Heya everybody!

Quick update on the babies: Junior's and Snicky's little horns are very visible now, Heidi's are just starting to come through. All three are drinking water now, and I think they've all started to eat a little grain. Heidi is a very fast runner! Sometimes we'll let them out of their pen, and pen up our buck, Romeo, so the mommas can graze and the babies can play. A few days ago they had wandered off a ways and then they came running back and Heidi was in the lead. She's so funny when she runs because she sticks her ears up in the air and does this little hopping thing. They are all as curious and cuddly as can be.
Well, I've got to go now. I'll try to update again soon and get some more pics of the babies.

January 27, 2007 - Kissy had her baby!!!!
Kissy's baby is here!!!
I'm soooo excited!! It was born last night. We think it is a boy and I will probably name him Snickers! :) Isn't that cute? Kissy seems to like him and seems to be a very good mom! I will post pictures of him later today.
Barli also had her baby, but it didn't make it. :(
Oh, and the other baby's name is Junior. Now Junior will have a little playmate!

January 19, 2007 - Goats!
Yes, the time is drawing near... our goats should kid very soon! I am soooo excited. I think the momma goat (the mom of all but one of our goats) will kid any time now!! She is showing the signs, and she is very big. I am sure she will at least have twins, if not triplets. Kissy is getting pretty big too, and I think she will be after her mom. Which brings me to the same point I have talked about so many times: names! I know, you're thinking "not more talk about goat names"! But, now is the time I need to talk about them! Because pretty soon I will have to decide on names. I am SO hoping she has at least one girl!! I think I will be very disappointed if she doesn't. :(

Here is the list I came out with a while ago.... my favorite is still Almond Joy, so if she has a girl I am pretty sure it will be Almond Joy. And if little Almond has a twin girl, I will probably name it Tootsie Roll, Twix or Reese, and if she has a twin boy it will be Mounds.

November 24, 2006 - Forgot....
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! We did! We had cinammon rolls and watched the parade in the morning, then the Purina dog show, then we ate dinner, fed all of our animals, and watched the two hour special Thanksgiving edition of Deal or No Deal!!! :)
I realized that I never mentioned that one of the other goats actually belongs to me, also. Here is a picture of her....
Isn't she pretty? For a goat. :) Well, her name is Schwanli (pronounced Swanly) and her twin ( the one behind her, with her mouth open) is Barli. It means "little Swan" and "little Bear", but we just thought it would be neat because those are some of the goats names in "Heidi".
ANYWAY, I though it would be kinda cool to name any of her babies that we keep from goat names in Heidi, too, but, after looking through the book, these are the ones I found:

Distelfinck
Schneehopli
Turk........
Haha!!!!! So, um.... kinda hard to pronounce....but then, you've always got Heidi, Peter, Dete, other names besides goat names.
Well, I don't know.. maybe I'm getting a little carried away with goat names! Ha!
