I just finished looking over a product called Safari Search by Blue Wave Learning. Using a step-by-step process and flip charts, children easily learn to classify animals as mammals, birds, amphibians,
fish, reptiles, insects or arachnids.
And it really works! A great resource for an animal unit or when
learning about the classification system. You can even take it with you
to the zoo or anywhere else you might find animals for on-site study. I
highly recommend it for elementary-age children.
