horse lessons in Oklahoma. She has just completed a fun, lesson plan on
horses. Here's the info:
Investigating Horses 101, E-Book now available. Investingating Horses
101 is about horses, some of the things they need to live comfortably,
how we take care of them and how we enjoy them. Students will
have the opportunity to write a short story about a horse by using the
Writing Assistant throughout the study.
Students will learn about some different breeds of horses, like the
American Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred, Morgan and Paint. They will
learn new words like stallion, hands, mare and filly to name a few. By
identifying different parts of the horse, they will have new horse
talk words for their vocabulary. Learning what we call the different
colors of horses will also be a part of this study.
