Jan. 29, 2008 - New Unit Study - Science and Scientists

Log on to my website for my free, 16-week science unit called, Science and Scientists-An Introduction to Science for Elementary Students. I created this unit to help you give your children a brief overview of the major science fields (Biology, Chemistry, Geology, etc.). In each unit, your children will learn about two scientists who worked in the field and two related topics. They will  research the internet  and complete activities related to these topics. I hope you will find this unit fun to do and very informative.

Enjoy!

Dec. 20, 2007 - World War I Unit Study

There seems to be plenty of homeschool curriculum that covers American history up to the Civil War and perhaps a little beyond; however, there seems to be very little available that covers the late 1800s through current day. So I thought I would work on filling some of these gaps. Here is list of topics to study and recommended resources to use to teach your children about  World War I.

I hope it will be helpful to you.
