My Grandmother Died Today
My grandmother passed at approximately 4;30 this morning she would had been 92 this march 28th
She wanted to live to be 100 years old.
My grand mother was very sick up until the point of he passing she suffered for four years from the effects of altimeters.
She was a beautiful strong woman who taught me how to be fierce and whip some behind if I needed to.
She taught me how to play the piano and how to praise god how to be who I am today.
So it is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write this journal entry.
Here are some stanzas from two of my favorite songs about loss. The first piece is how my grandmother would want me to view her death, and the second piece is how I feel at the moment.

This last piece is from my grandmother’s favorite hymn Amazing Grace. the song had a lot of significance to my grandmother for it was this song she was singing when she survived getting hit by a streetcar at age 16 and it was this song her mother was humming to her in a premonition right before she passed.

How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.
