We have begun Week 12 and I can't really believe it. It has been a very interesting term to say the least. We are growing in various areas outside of academics. I believe this is why I can't believe the time has gone by so fast. We have completed most of our scheduled work and we have only one week left in this term, then exams.
This week will be a very light week. They are on holiday from today til Monday, therefore, not much will be happening academically around here. Lots of home economics skills will be fine tuned and created ~ working w/mom and others in the kitchen. We will also be planning our christmas giving for this year. I'd like us to make our gifts this year, but we must plan for this in order for it to be a reality. I believe we will gather ideas and supplies over the next two weeks and during winter break actuallly make them. This will keep them from being idle when I am at work and keep us moving diligently toward our goal of solidifying our habits. I think I like this idea alot.
This week in brief:
Wed 11/23 - Schools Out! or in Sk8erChick's words "I've been released." I thought that was funny and so did her friends. She and I worked today and she is off from work til next Wed. I, on the other hand, work on Friday.
Thur 11/24 ~ Happy Thanksgiving! We will be spending most of the day w/a family we meet at the fair and getting to see another part of OK we have never been before. We will also spend time in remembrance of the reason we honor this day, giving thanks for all the Lord has done and provided for us. It is an awesome revelation when you take the time to be thankful, of how truly good God really is. I am very thankful for every breath, every minute, every moment and everything that is in my life. I know you are too.
Fri 11/25 - Schools Out ~ I go to work. Will be a very quiet day, I'm thinking.
