Apr. 11, 2006 - The Results of the Poetry Contest
Hello everyone! I was reminded just recently that I have a poetry contest to wrap up! Oops!
I only had two contestants. That's okay though. Futurewriterandvet had a neat poem, and it was very poetical.
Justaname also had a cool poem, and I really liked that it rhymed. (No offense Futurewriterandvet!)

Out of the many wonderful poems that were submitted I have decided that...Futurewriterandvet has won Eyebright's not annual, bi-annual, or monthly poetry contest!
Please also remember that there is no prize for the winner, EXCEPT, the fact that you DID win the contest. Hey, sometimes that feeling can be pretty good!

I WON! *GASP* SQUEL! SCREEEAAAMM! Faint! SWEAR! Fan myself wiht my hand and say "this is so overwhelming!" Cry, Hug all my competitors as if thier friends even thought they're really enimies! (not really) and all that other junk that Americian Idol winners do lol.
But really, thanks. I was just thinking about how I really wasn't that great of a writer. just yesterday it was in fact. That is a boost to my self esteem. Of course I'm sure the other person should have won considering THEY'RE poem rymed *pout* . lol I'm kidding. Hey, about the lack of people posting their poems I TRIED to get my friends to post a poem, but NOOOOO they said "nooo I'm bad a writing. Why don't you just do it and say it was me?' The whiners.
And btw I really, really thought the others girls poem was really, good. I liked it! especially that it rymed. ;) She was braver than all my whiney friends. lol I'm jokeing.
