Defective Compositions

Jul. 4, 2006 - Knitting a Country Bear

My knitting 4-H project is finally done.  It seems like it took me forever to finish it!

It is suposed to have bloomers, but I didn't feel like I had the time to do them.  The blue dress is part of the body, so you can't undress her, but I didn't sew the hat onto the head.  The apron's neckstrap is too tight to pull off of the head, so that is kind of stuck on there too.

Here is another, closer picture;

I got the pattern from Knitting Pattern Central, but you can go straight to the pattern by clicking here.

Happy 4th of July!

WOW! What a beautifully done bear!

I so need to learn how to knit...it is on my to-do list...well, it's been there for quite a while actually. In the meantime, I'll just keep looking here at your creations! :-)

Congrats, I know you will do fabulously well!

Blessings,
Marsha

Your country bear and baby cape are adorable--good work!! I can't let my daughter view them or she will beg me to make both for her and I am the most yarnwork challenged person in the world!
