Defective Compositions

Apr. 13, 2009 - Busy Nothings

I have been increasingly busy lately.  The thing is, that I don't really know why.

  1. Writing the Craft Corner for the Front Porch.
  2. Researching and writing information about the country of Chile.  You can read what we have learned on Chile Dreaming.
  3. Schooling the Sibling
  4. Getting ready for a Baby Shower!  No, don't get excited for us, just follow the link!

Well, that is all of the stuff that goes on for a while.  I guess it isn't as much as I thought it was!  Here are some other things that we have been doing lately:

  1. We went for our first Picnic of the Year!
  2. Yesterday, Bluejane got Mommy's old laptop.
  3. I have been reading a bit more.  You can find my "Currently Reading" widget on my sidebar.
  4. I won a Homebound Missions T-shirt contest.  I am going to get my package of prizes today, and can't wait!

Again, that doesn't sound like a whole lot, but there are loads of little mundane things that we do everyday that make it feel busy, I guess.  I hope you are all having a fabulous, happy, and warm Spring!

I know how you feel! Isn't it strange when we feel really busy but when we write it out, it doesn't look like much?

I guess that is a better way to put it (about the book)...not my taste :-) No, I haven't read "Jack and Jill", is it a good book? I'll have to check our Inter Library Loan for it! : )

Yes, we too have been very busy lately. Thankfully that seems to be decreasing. :) We are still very busy, but we aren't away from home as much as we were the first few months of the year. This afternoon we "rearranged" the backyard. We moved a shed, cleaned out our garden (most of it will be replaced with square-foot-gardening), and did a few other odds and ends. :) It was a good day, and I believe that we will all sleep very well this evening.

Love,
Emily Rose

It sounds to me like busyness!
I know how when you list all the
things you've been doing, it can
seem like not much... but in reality,
it definatley is keeping you busy!
For Modern Greek, I'm using Rosetta Stone.
I think it is a VERY great resource
for learning a foreign language!!
Hope you have a great week.
