May. 28, 2009 - Skirt Remake
What do you do when you stand and stare at all of your clothes, and find nothing that appeals to you? Remake!
I finally decided that this skirt was too long, so I shortened it up a little, and added some frill.

I definitely like the way it feels, but the overall appearance will take some getting used to. What do you think?

That skirt is so cute...you did a lovely job... I find myself doing that often...looking in the closet and not seeing anything you really want to wear. Fun idea to do remaking! I like lace you added, it is cute and summery... :) Looks lovely on you too...

I think it's really cute! I love the lace at the bottom... and the double layered look is very unique!
My sister is the master of remaking the clothing of this household. She's pretty good - especially with the sewing machine. In one blink something is completely refurbished and looking gorgeous. She's a pro at making formal dresses and cute tops modest.
