Defective Compositions

Jun. 1, 2009 - Young Maiden's Daybook ~ 3

Today…
We have to run to town and get dog food, we're out!  Other than that...not much.

Outside my window…
The same thing as two weeks ago, just a few more clouds.

I am thinking…
It is too bad we missed the local homeschool graduation.  We forgot!

I am thankful for…
A house, and yummy food.

I am wearing…
Jeans and a burnt orange polo shirt.

I am reading…
Northern Exposure by Eric Walters

I am creating…
Fingerless gloves, knitted washcloths, and, hopefully, glycerine soap!

One of my favorite things…
Being inspired

For education this week…
Some Algebra, I need to write some articles, and I'm not sure what all else.

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning …
Time Management

A spiritual lesson I’m learning…
"Love does not behave rudely"

A godly character trait I plan to work on…
"Love does not behave rudely"

Scripture I am memorizing…
1 Corinthians 13.  It gets harder the farther I get!

I am praying for…
The Lord to guide my family

For the rest of the week…
We need to go to the library, but other than that...not much!

A picture I’d like to share…

This is one of our nearby mountains, yesterday when it was raining.  There was another mountain in the distance that looked like it was kind glowing, but I never did get a picture of it.

Hello Eyebright!

Sorry it took so long for me to reply... :-S Yes- I've mostly seen those red columbines growing wild (in the mtns.) around here as well.. (That picture is of a wild one) I was pleased to find some growing in my garden this year, however. I thought they were just yellow, so it was a nice surprise!

That's a neat picture of the mountain! Mountains are wonderful, aren't they? So scenic...

Thanks for the comment! I always enjoy hearing what you have to say:)

As for a desert terrarium, who knows? Although I think I have seen them before in nursery shops.

The "Spiritual Lesson I am Learning" is a good one to remember and practice. Rudeness can certainly hinder spiritual love.

Have a Great Day!
