Defective Compositions

Jul. 6, 2009 - Young Maiden's Daybook ~ July 6th

Today…
July 6th 2009

Outside my window…
Same old, same old, except that I can no longer see out my window.  The desk is packed up and gone and I'm sitting on the floor.

I am thinking…
I only have to wait until Wednesday (hopefully!) to find out if and when we are moving to Kentucky!

I am thankful for…
All of the stuff I get to keep, even if it is going in a storage shed.

I am wearing…
Khaki pants and a plain black t-shirt

I am reading…
North & South
I'm really enjoying it!

I am creating…
A moving environment.

One of my favorite things…
Thinking about our trip to Kentucky.

For education this week…
Cleaning, packing, resting, organizing.

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning …
Cleaning

A spiritual lesson I’m learning…
God is in control.  I need to trust Him no matter what.

A godly character trait I plan to work on…
Cheerfulness
~
Attitudes are contagious. Are yours worth catching? ~Dennis and Wendy Mannering

Scripture I am memorizing…
I am kind of working on Romans 12

I am praying for…
Daddy to get the job, and to be able to start said job when we want him to.

For the rest of the week…
Packing, resting, cleaning, and a birthday party!  Yay!  That will be something to think about other than moving.

A picture I’d like to share…

This is a treasure I found while cleaning out my sewing cabinet!

I thought the entrelac was difficult for the first round and then it got simpler as I went along. The gloves sound neat. I always don't look forward to sewing in the ends. Love your blog by the way!

God Bless,
Esther
