Nov. 7, 2009 - My 4th Blogoversary
Yes, three cheers for me for blogging for four whole years, right? I think so. I don't really remember what I thought of blogging when I first started, so I won't go into any of that. All I know is that now I love it.
So instead of all of the usual sap that people post about for their blogoversaries, I am just going to post link to some of my favorite posts that I have written over these past four years. Does that sound like fun? I hope so!

Aug. 6, 2009 - Kansas to Kentucky!
After Dodge City, we headed over to Independence, Kansas.

We had only one reason to go here, but I was sure glad that we did! The Little House on the Prairie site turned out to be a very neat, quiet little stop.

On the site, there was also an old post office. It was rather quaint, and it was neat to see the old post office boxes.

There was also an old schoolhouse, and a small gift shop. The gift shop was selling an entire set of Little House dolls, but the set was $60-$70, so I just bought "Ma".

By the way, we absolutely adored Independence! It is simply the neatest little town we have laid eyes on, and we were kind of sad that we had to leave. There was a wonderful little park that was open until midnight, and it was used, too! I don't think we saw a single home that was dumpy, or ill kept. There were some houses that weren't well kept, but they did not look bad at all. All in all, I think we would gladly visit Independence again.
After Independence, we scooted on through Missouri. We didn't know of anything interesting there, and at that point we were just in a hurry to get to our destination. Our next stop was in finally in Kentucky, and we got to meet some "new" friends. We also got to meet Hannahb95, which was very fun. No pictures of faces, of course, but I did take some darling pictures of some neat pictures of the barn, and some darling pictures of the animals!

And here is a scene that we have been seeing a LOT of lately...

...cornfields!
They are very pretty, we just aren't used to seeing so many of them!
So, we are finally at our destination. We are exploring, learning, and discovering all kinds of interesting things about our new home. For instance, a soft drink that is made in a nearby town, Winchester, and sold only in this area, is Ale8¹. We were given some as a welcome gift, and we tried it today. To us, it tasted like a cross between Sprite and Ginger Ale. It wasn't too bad.

So, if you want to find me, I'll be sitting here, on my bed in the motorhome, trying to get used to the humidity, and southern accents. If I'm not there, I'll be driving around Kentucky with my family, nearly running off the road in awe of the beautiful houses that are in abundance here.

Aug. 4, 2009 - Colorado to Kansas
Wow! I can't believe how far behind I am in posting pictures of our trip! Sorry to all of you who are especially interested in these!

This was a gorgeous sunset we saw on our drive to Denver, Colorado.

The next day we got to go and eat lunch at The Airplane Restaurant. Daddy was pretty excited about it, and it did turn out to be a neat experience.

Then we got to go meet a very fun family. You can read more about that particular visit on Bluejane's blog, and Narniagirl's blog. It was a lot of fun!

Next stop, Dodge City, Kansas! Yep, we got to visit the town that is famous for Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, Bat Masterson, the OK Corral, and other western tales.

The first native that us kids got to meet was a lovely toad. It was hanging about our campsite, and we were quite amazed by it's large size.

The following day, we made a short little jaunt downtown to visit the Boot Hill Museum. This museum displayed all kinds of artifacts, facts, and information from old Dodge City and it's times.

We were in time to see a gunfight reenactment! Here, the marshal is just hanging out in front of the saloon.

Uh, oh, here comes trouble!

I didn't get any pictures of the actual shooting, but in the end the marshal and the trouble makers kill each other, but one of the bad guys starts to get away, so the General Store Keeper, used her rifle to finish him off. The end of the story? The Saloon Keeper complained about having to get a new marshal!

We also got a Wanted poster printed with our last name. The girl actually used this old printing press to put our name on it.
I'll post the rest of the trip later!

Jul. 25, 2009 - An Oregonian in Utah
Well, we are officially on our way. We spent one night in with some friends in Prairie City Oregon, and then moved on to Mountain Home, Idaho.
We got to see a lamb, a pony, and ten darling puppies!

After two nights with our beloved family, we headed south to Utah. Once we crossed the border and drove for a while, we stopped at the ATK Rocket Display. It was pretty cool, more so after watching the movie, Apollo 13.

And almost next door to the Rocket Display was the Golden Spike Historical Marker. There was a museum type of thing, but it was closed when we got there, so all we got to see was the outside, but it was still neat to see the monument. This place was where the last spike was driven in the transcontinental railroad of the United States.
Tomorrow, we are heading back up to Wyoming, and then, we might head back down to Colorado. We are all pretty tired, and sometimes a little short with each other, but I think we are all really enjoying it!

Jul. 15, 2009 - The End is Near
I think to myself: "Never again do I want to have so much stuff. Never again do I want to leave the furniture in one spot for four years. Never again do I want to have a yard sale trying to sell all of our stuff. Never again do I want to pack all of my stuff away for who knows how long."
I feel this way right now, but in truth, we are almost done. The house is almost empty and we have started cleaning it. The rooms we have cleaned look pretty good, but it is only about a third of the house.
We have pretty much completed our transfer of residence from a double-wide manufactured home into a class C motorhome. We are still working out ways we can utilize every space, and make things easier for everyone all around.
One of the awesome things that we got, is a wireless network...thing. I really don't understand it, so forgive me if I say something silly. It is about the size of a business card, only a little thicker. We can get online anywhere there is cell phone service. That means we can be driving down the road, and blogging at the same time!
Not that we need to blog while we are on the go, but Mommy does have to work, and this way we won't have to use the RV park internet, which usually stinks.
So, keep checking back here, because I plan on posting about our two week adventure to Kentucky! We will be starting fairly soon. I am so excited! I have my camera, and I plan to use it. Watch out Kentucky, here we come!

Jun. 29, 2009 - Young Maiden's Daybook ~ June 29

Today…
Just packing, packing, packing.
Outside my window…
It is very hot. Daddy is weed-whacking, and I think everyone just wants to go back to bed.
I am thinking…
I hope we are not continually packing and cleaning throughout July. I don't think I could stand it!
I am thankful for…
Things to pack, I guess. If I didn't have things to pack I suppose we would be dirt poor, and hungry all the time. The Lord has really blessed us.
I am wearing…
A tiered denim skirt, a pink tank top with a light and lacy sweater to cover it, and my leather belt that features my middle name.
I am reading…
North & South ~ Elizabeth Gaskell
I am creating…
Not much at the moment. Everything seems to be on hold.
One of my favorite things...
Music from musicals!
For education this week…
How to fit eveything you have into one box?
A keeper at home skill I am using/learning …
Utilizing tight spaces?
A spiritual lesson I’m learning…
Contentment no matter what.
A godly character trait I plan to work on…
Cheerfulness no matter what.
Scripture I am memorizing…
Romans 12
I am praying for…
that we will move to KY, and that the Lord gives us all wisdom.
For the rest of the week…
Packing, packing, packing.
A picture I’d like to share…
I took this on the road, and this is how it turned out. I thought it was pretty cool!
If you would like to participate in the Young Maiden's Daybook, you can find more information at Firmly Fixed on the Father.

Jun. 19, 2009 - Spur-Of-The-Moment Activity
This week has definitely been an interesting one. Last Saturday, Mommy and Daddy woke us up and said we were going on a camping trip. None of us kids takes kindly to being woke up, so we were all thrilled. You can read more about our little trip at Bluejane's blog.
After coming home on Monday, we had a day of resting, before we found out that our cousin was coming to spend two nights with us. We were so excited! On one of the days she was here, we went to the swimming pool, which was much colder than Ka-Nee-Ta. Again, you can read about that on Bluejane's Blog.
Then, completely spur-of-the-moment, and because of certain circumstances, after dropping our cousin off at home, we picked up a friend, and she is also staying two nights. So, tonight, with Bluejane, and Smartyjones, I am going to see Up in our local theater.
Our entire week has been spur-of-the-moment activity, but it has been really fun. Bluejane and I will probably crash when it is all over.

Apr. 13, 2009 - Busy Nothings
I have been increasingly busy lately. The thing is, that I don't really know why.
- Writing the Craft Corner for the Front Porch.
- Researching and writing information about the country of Chile. You can read what we have learned on Chile Dreaming.
- Schooling the Sibling
- Getting ready for a Baby Shower! No, don't get excited for us, just follow the link!

Well, that is all of the stuff that goes on for a while. I guess it isn't as much as I thought it was! Here are some other things that we have been doing lately:
- We went for our first Picnic of the Year!
- Yesterday, Bluejane got Mommy's old laptop.
- I have been reading a bit more. You can find my "Currently Reading" widget on my sidebar.
- I won a Homebound Missions T-shirt contest. I am going to get my package of prizes today, and can't wait!
Again, that doesn't sound like a whole lot, but there are loads of little mundane things that we do everyday that make it feel busy, I guess. I hope you are all having a fabulous, happy, and warm Spring!

Mar. 30, 2009 - Sasha Dolls
Several years ago, I decided to make Bluejane an entire wardrobe for her American Girl doll. I went over to my Grandma's house, for a couple of days at a time, and slowly worked on it. We used a neat book that my Grandma has, called The Doll's Dressmaker. The book was very helpful, and the patterns were easy to adapt.
On certain of the pages, there were pictures of these enchanting little dolls, with sober faces, beautiful hair, and expressive painted eyes. Then and there, I fell in love with them. Little did I know where my admiration for these dolls would take me.
Looking in the back of the book, we discovered that they were Sasha Dolls, but we also found that they were no longer made. Doesn't it figure. I next went online, to discover more about the Sasha dolls, and the first thing that became obvious to me, was that they are quite expensive.
Now, over $100 may not seem like much for doll collectors, but for me, that just seems to be a bit too much. Yes, I truly love the dolls, and desire to have one, but I can't reconcile myself to the cost. There are so many other things that I could do with the money! I do know, that should I buy one, I will not pay above $150 dollars for it. Do they get that high? Oh, yes. Trust me. Certain dolls can get over $500 dollars.
I just want one cute little Sasha doll, even if I have to take a Gregor ( the boy Sasha dolls) and re-do his hair to make it a she. Other than the hair and the eyelashes, the Gregors and Sashas are no different. I would even take one that was battered, and not in terribly good condition.
So, now if I have gotten you excited about Sasha dolls, here a couple of links to find out more.
- Sasha-Dolls.com
- SashaDoll.com
- Allegro Melody Customized Dolls This one is a favorite of mine. The dolls are so pretty!
Of course, there is also Ebay, which I check often, hoping there will be a reasonable deal. I also joined a Yahoo group called Sasha Mart., You can find the information on that group if you scroll down on SashaDoll.com
Now you know my new "hobby", if you will. My family is sick of hearing about Sasha dolls, so I must turn to you!

Mar. 9, 2009 - The Great Bedroom Swap
Several days ago, I was walking past my brothers' bedroom, and saw a brilliant shaft of sunlight shining in through the window. It made me stop, and decide that I would love to have that west facing window.
Our current room at the time had a north-facing window, and light never came directly into the room. It was kind of dark even on sunny days.
So, Bluejane and I discussed it with our parents, and brothers, and all agreed that it would be a fun thing to do. Boy, we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into!
We started yesterday, and moved everything out of the boys' room, into the schoolroom. Then, the room got a major clean, we scrubbed the walls, filled all the holes in the walls, and vacuumed the carpet.
Next, we began moving all of our stuff into the other room. Bluejane and I commented several times that we have way to much Stuff!
Currently, our new bedroom looks like a tornado came through, and I sometimes groan when I think of cleaning it. I plan on getting rid of a whole lot of things though, such as, a glitter lamp that we never use, a pair of shoes that don't look very good under skirts, papers that I don't look at, etc. Hopefully, I can get rid of enough stuff to make the room look like what we planned on.
Our plan, was this. We have never had enough room for a desk, and we have always wanted a desk, and when we thought of moving into the other room, we immediately thought of putting the desk under the window. Perfect. Next, we put our two hopechests in a corner, and we plan on making custom cushions for making a reading nook. I can see it in my imagination, and hope it turns out as lovely as I see it.
One of the biggest challenges is fitting all of our clothes in the closet. Again, we will have to get rid of some things. The finished closet will look neat, too, because we hope to put curtains over it, instead of the usual sliding doors. All of the fabric will coordinate with our matching bedspreads.
Anyway, that is the excitement in our lives lately. What a job!

Feb. 23, 2009 - The Sad, Sad Reason for the Aches
For the past two days I wince nearly every time I get up or sit down. The reason? Let's see if this explains it.
Bluejane and I were recently invited to a birthday party for one of our friends, where we played three games of Capture the Flag. It was a lot of fun. My team won all three games, but I don't think it was because of anything that I did. We also played tag, but the area we played in was so large, that the best strategy was to hide, and hope that the people who were "It" didn't find you. I was one of the last people to be found.
We had a lot of fun, and talked about it quite a bit that evening, but the next morning, I discovered that my legs and back ached like crazy! It was, and still is, painful to sit down, or stand up, because of it.
As a result of both the game, and the aches, Bluejane and I have decided that we definitely need to start exercising. It is ridiculous how much out of shape I am. I can't even run very far without getting out of breath. We are going to try to start running every day.
It would be helpful if it would stop raining, though!

Dec. 30, 2008 - It's Me Again, Eyebright the Blogger.
Well, now that the joyful celebration of Christmas is over, I have returned to lie under the familiar gas tanks. I am home, safe and sound, or at least one would hope so. I brought back with me pictures, memories, and more pages that have been written on in my diary.
So, now that I am back, I have to find some things to do with myself, that are worthwhile, and some things that will benefit the whole family. I can't just be a couch potato, and watch Mommy and Daddy work, and my siblings do school. I can't just order my sister to peel me some grapes whenever I want, and I can't just use my computer nonstop, for more that two hours if I can possibly help it. Just the the thought of it makes me long for fresh air!
So, if you look down on my sidebar, you will find yet another drop down list, (aren't they cool?) with a list of things that I want to do. Not exactly New Year Resolutions, but just things that, well, I want to do! As I finish them, I will cross them off, but some of them aren't really cross-offable, so they will not be crossed out, I guess.
In other news, we opened just our family gifts last night, and us children were mostly tickled to find that we got a Wii! We also got some nifty games to go with it, that we still have yet to learn how to play. As time goes on, I am sure that more strict regulation of play time will be instilled, but for now, while it is still the holidays, we get to play what I would guess to be more often. My two favorite games right now are Wii Play, and MarioKart.
I will be on here more often now, but not too often! I have a couple ideas for some thinker posts, but whether they get published or not is a good question.
Another thing I would like to share with you is my photoblog. Now, I know that some of you have visited my homeschoolblogger, photoblog, Lumen Naturale, but this one is different, and I would love to hear your feedback!
So, now I will say farewell. I hope you all have a lovely, evening, morning, or afternoon, as the case may be.

Nov. 24, 2008 - Farm Pictures
Hello Everyone!
I miss talking to all of my blog friends so much! I also missed my family while I was gone as well, of course, but have enjoyed showing them all of my pictures, and telling them of my many adventures.
I get outside much more that I used to at home, which is really great, because I have been getting a lot of photo opportunities, and exercise. I have also just enjoyed the feeling of being in God's great creation. Here a few pictures I have taken of it, that I thought I would share with you.

All of those are originals, but I like to take my pictures and make things with them, thus the below graphics.
![]()

I especially like the first one best, and I think the theme would make a really great template!
Anyway, the farm is really beautiful.
I love to hear from you all!

Sep. 15, 2008 - Prayer Request ~ Driver's Test
Today is the day that I am going to get my drivers liscense. At first, I thought I had to take the written test, and the driving test, but found out that I only have to take the driving test. That stinks for me, because the driving test was the one that I was, or still am, worried about!
So, I would really appriciate it if you could pray for me, that I would pass this test. I need to drive confidently, yet cautiously, to ensure that I don't make any mistakes. I am so glad that once this done, it is done! If I can, I will come back to this post and add an update on how I did, so you can check. Thank you for your prayers!
Miss Eyebright
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi!
I just wanted to thank you all for your prayers. I passed the test! I made several mistakes, one of them was a pretty big mistake, but overall I did a good job. The examiner was very nice. So, anyway, I just wanted to thank you, and give you all an update.
Thanks again,
Miss Eyebright
Aug. 15, 2008 - Contact with Contacts
I just recently got new glasses, and, for the first time ever, contacts! I was pretty excited about that, because I have been kind of wanting contacts for a while. I didn't think that glasses looked very good on me. I think that was because the glasses that I had before were much too small; I had them for three years.
So, when I finally got my contacts, it was kind of strange, because I felt like I was pretending that I didn't have bad eyesight! People can't really see the contacts in my eyes, so they can't know that my eyes really aren't all that great.
I really like my glasses, however. They are a little more colorful than my old ones, being bright blue on the inside and a dark purple on the outside. I am actually wearing them in my new avatar picture, which I think is pretty cool, by the way!
I am still getting used to putting the contacts in. My right eye is pretty easy now, but my left eyelid is actually pretty strong, because it does NOT want to let anything past it! It is getting easier, but let me tell you, I do feel rather silly trying to relax my eyelid!
I keep dropping them, too. They don't stay on my finger very well, but they have been relatively easy to find, so far.
One time, I was able to take my right contact out quickly, but then I forgot I was taking them out, and thought I was putting them in! I looked in the container for my left contact, and it wasn't there! I started to get somewhat worried. Great. I had only had them for two or three days, and already I had lost one. Then, with some slight embarassment, I realized that it was still in my eye. I hadn't even taken it out yet.
Jul. 20, 2008 - Washington State, Here We Come!
A couple of weeks ago, my family and I made an almost two week trip into the heart of some of the wettest territory in the Northwest. Yesiree, Washington State, the home of rain, rain, and road construction. People pictures are taboo, but I would love to share some other interesting photographs with my bloggie friends.
We started the facinating parts of our trip in Shaniko, Oregon. It took us a while to get there. The really neat schoolhouse had been closed for quite some time, but it had just recently opened up, and we got to go inside.
A really neat lady had set up a little "museum" of weaving, knitting, spinning, and crocheting. She also sold some of the things she had made, including these colorful hats.
I also caught an interesting picture of some wool that was dying to get away from the camera. (Sorry, the pun just slipped out.)
Our next sightseeing stop was on the WA side of the Colombia River. Do you know what we saw there? One of the most recognizable, and ancient structures in the world.
Yes, that's right! Stonehenge in all of it's glory! Okay, so it's only a small, one, and it's obviously not in England, where the British left it, but it was kind of cool to see it anyway.
I also took two really neat pictures of the American flag that was flying.
Finally, I leave you with the dreaded words, TO BE CONTINUED!
Jun. 4, 2008 - Well, I am Gradiated!
Sometimes, well, no, all the time, my parents like to say things as if they are “uneducated” country bumpkins. So, in their words, I am now "gradiated"! Yes, one BBQ, and two ceremonies later, I am now among the ranks of “Homeschool Survivors”, Homeschool Graduates, Homeschool Alumni, and whatever else. The BBQ was busy, and exhausting, but fun. We invited 90 families, and about 90 people showed up. It was a full house! Especially when it decided to rain, and everyone tried to move inside. We prepared to feed more than 100 people, so a week and a half later, we are still eating leftover hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken. The first ceremony was very nice, and I learned a lot about some the young men and women that I knew. The second ceremony, however, was much more colorful and way less formal. We had slideshows depicting our lives, and tables set up with objects, pictures and collections that represented us. You got to learn a ton more about each individual. All in all, I have been extremely blessed. I have received a lot of money, and I am saying this not to boast, I hope, but to show how blessed I am! Also gifts! I don’t know how many of you know this already, but I received a laptop from my parents. It is a pretty empty piece of technology at the moment, but I still sometimes look at it and think, “Wow, I can’t believe I have this!” Another gift that I received that I really appriciate is a “Joy Journal”. It is a journal to record only joys in. You are supposed to do it daily. I was really excited about it, because I need to look back at joys in my life. It is really great idea, and I already have 4 joys since I got the journal. So, now that I am “gradiated”, I really don’t know what to do with myself! I feel like I am on school break. I have been doing some textbook stuff, like Polished Cornerstones, and reading my Bible quite a bit. I need to get some sort of industrious schedule going, so that I don’t feel useless, and don’t get bored! Right now, I am just looking ahead to what is coming up next. What we are doing in the next couple of days, and of course, my trip to help my Aunt. I would appriciate prayers now that I am at this next stage of my life.
May. 21, 2008 - Plans for Post-Graduation
Dear SuperAngel is having a contest, a really cool one I might add! If you are a homeschool senior, or the parent of a homeschool senior, then you can enter this contest to win a t-shirt from the Homeschool Boutique. I thought that these particular t-shirts were really cool, maybe partly because I am a senior!
One of the requirements of entering, is to write a post about what I plan on doing after I graduate. Well, I have said it once, and it happens to be the smartest way I know how to answer this question, "I do not legitimately sustain a conceptualization of my contiguous prospects!" In other words, I have no fixed plans. I really do not plan on going to college, except for maybe a couple of classes at the local community college. Pretty much college is what everyone is expected to do after they graduate, anymore. I am not saying it is a bad thing, I know that some people think it is. I do think that it is okay to go to college. Many of the women on my Papafather's side of the family, have been certified nurses, before they were married, and you have to have a college education for that.
However, I do not plan on being a nurse, and any occupation that I might consider does not necessarily need a college education. I might like to own a yarn shop. I might like to delve into photography. I might like to have my own template design business. I might like to combine the skills from the last to occupations an make greeting cards with verses or quotes on them.
Immediately after I graduate, I will probably help my younger siblings with school, and work on a few books myself. Those will probably be Polished Cornerstones, and some sort of language course.
In the fall, I will be going to my Great Aunt and Uncle's to help take care of their foster children. I will probably be there for several months, which means that I will not be posting very often, as they have no Internet. That doesn't mean, I won't post, just that it won't be very often.
Mostly, I don't know. I don't have a major goal that I am working towards. Just remember that those are my plans. God's plans for my life may be, and probably are, majorly different than mine. Actually, it is rather an intimidating thought that soon I will be finished with something that has been the largest part of my life for the last thirteen years. Not learning, but school. Also, I am entering the realm of adulthood, and even though when I was little, I wanted to be an adult, now I am wishing that I never had to grow up, and never had to leave my parents. How wonderful to know that my future is in the Lord's hands! It just happens that I worry about it sometimes.
We seniors need your prayers. This is one of the biggest milestones of our lives. Probably, a lot of us don't really know where we are going, although some of us do. The future is a blank page, waiting for a script, and that writers block is kind of scary sometimes. How wonderful that I am not going to be the author of that page, God is.
May. 19, 2008 - Graduation Preparations
The time is drawing near. My graduation is almost at hand, and here I am, frittering my time writing this post. Is it frittering? Naw, I know that you guys are interested.
Yes, graduation preparations have begun in deadly earnestness. There are exactly five days until my Graduation Barbeque, eleven days until my first graduation ceremony (done so that I can "graduate" with a lot of the people that I have grown up with), and thirteen days until my graduation ceremony with the homeschoolers from my county. It is going to be a busy and fun-filled next two weeks!
One of the things that I am working on is a display table to set up at the Barbeque and one of the ceremonies. It will be full of objects and pictures that represent the things that I have done, or things that a very much a part of me. On it I will have a photo album of my trip to Europe, which I still need to finish.
Also I will have my Sparky vest, which is weighs about five pounds because of all the plastic pieces; pins, crowns badges, and the like. I was quite the memorizer when I was little. In fact, I memorized one entire Sparky book in a week, so that I could get a certain badge before I was too old for Sparkies anymore. Maybe not the best reason for memorizing scripture, but I did it!
I will also have my fair ribbons on a board. I have several Grand Champions for crocheting. I also have a Best in Show award for a doily that I crocheted. Another Grand Champion award that I received is for my goat, Eyebright. We won it in our very first show. I was ecstatic!
I will also have some of my choir pictures on the board. Choir has been a big part of my life for the last eight or nine years. I was even the Co-President in my last year of choir! I absolutly loved it. We sang songs from history, and about history. We also did skits. Some of the kids that I know are so talented! The can just send the entire choir into gales of laughter, and can act even when they forget their lines. Unlike me. :)
Another thing that I will have on my table is my Addy Doll. She was one of my biggest investments. I spent two years trying to save $84 dollars just to buy her. We lived in an apartment building at the time, and after we had picked up the box from the office, some boy's saw the box and cried out, "What's in there? Ammo?" I almost cried, I was so upset and furious. How could anyone think that my beloved Addy doll was ammo? Not to mention, I didn't even know what ammo was! When we got back to the apartment, my hands shook as I opened the box. I have since found out that that is a family trait, but I think I get it worse than everyone else.
My blanket from when I was little also is going to be on the table. I have had this blanket from since I was born, I think. When I got too big to lay under it normally, I would lay it over me diagonally. Not quite as comfortable, but it worked! I told Mommy just the other day, that I can remember when I was little enough to lay my blanket out flat on the ground, curl up on one half and fold the other half over on top of me. Ah, those were the days.
And, finally, I will also have a large binder full of my drawings, stories, poems, and the like. Some of them I am rather embarrased about showing, but Mommy insisted. I might scan some in and show you, but it will probably be after I graduate!
We are trying to totally clean the house. This is sad to admit, but this is the first time that we are actually "spring cleaning". Never before have we gone through the ENTIRE house and cleaned everthing! Except when we were moving, of course. This friday is when people will start arriving from afar.
I have to write a one to two minute speech for one of my "graduations", so I might post it on here, too. Also, I plan on posting pictures of our recently remodeled bathroom! This is the first room we have ever "remodeled", and we think it looks incredible! Now we are making plans for the laundryroom. Just know this, more posts are on the way!
May. 16, 2008 - Pointing to the Naturale Light
Everyone, I would like to point you to my photoblog, Lumen Naturale. I just recently re-did the template (which I think is kind of neat, if I do say so myself!), and I wasn't sure if I had ever told you about it or not. Anyway, you should go take a look-see!
