Jul. 22, 2008 - Walmart Freebies & CVS Week of July 14
Last week wasn't the best week for freebies in the mail. However, I did still manage to get some great freebies at Walmart. I received a coupon for a free bottle of Cascade Rinse Aid in the mail, I used a $1.00 Kotex coupon from All You magazine making the liners free, I used a $1.00 coupon for the Gold Bond Lotion making it free, and I used a $2.00 coupon for the Just Bunches cereal. It was priced at $2.74, but on my receipt it was sale priced at $2.00 making this free also! WooHoo! If I paid full price for these items it would have cost $7.18-my cost $0.00

I also made my CVS trip. I thought I did pretty well. I usually pay $7.68 at Walmart for one bottle of my contact lens solution, but I saw that CVS had 2 bottle packs on sale and it gave back $3 in ECB's. So I decided to get some. For this trip I paid Out of Pocket $6.58 and I got back $3.00 ECB's. So technically, it only cost me $3.58. If I had paid the prices on my receipt, without coupons, I would have paid $30.64. If I paid full price it would have been $42.95. I say those are some significant savings!

Thanks for the heads up on the Meijer coupons on the Meijer website. I have already got a good deal because of them. Thank you! :)
