Jul. 13, 2009 - A Joel Funny
We went out for ice cream after church last night and the boys were having a little trouble settling down for bed. So Jason began telling the boys a bedtime story.
It's about Commander Joel and his trusty sidekick Mouseman Jacob. They are traveling through the dangerous forest around FlemingLand and encountering all sorts of strange creatures, facing challenges and fighting battles. You know, your typical boy story.
The boys kept bouncing around and acting out the scenes as Jason described them. Finally, he looked at the boys and told them to settle down and climb into bed.
"This story is to help you stay quiet. Just lay down and let your imagination run wild."
Joel looked at him and replied, "But I'm already running wild!"

Too cute! I enjoyed reading your sweet stories.
Whenever we need a good laugh, I pull out the journal I've written that has funny stories from when dd was younger.
