GOD CAN DO ONLY WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN HIM FOR!!!
In one of the groups, a mom asked about the class room and orginizing things. I talked about this yesturday. Well today I decided that enough was enough and even though we were not moving into the classroom yet, it didn't mean that I couldn't better plan and think ahead.
After schooling with Faith I found her something to do, that would give me the maxium amount of time that I needed to get through the homeschooling things.

Then I got to work. I am far from done, but we are in a much better place. Having more books this year, I needed a better system then pulling them out of a drawer. We are using a box for now, like a selve at the end of the table. So that if we need to, we can just pick up the whole box and tuck it away. In the front part of the box is our planner, devotional books and Bible. Then all of Faith's readers and workbooks. Then inbetween the white binder and the whiteboard are all the teacher manuals. I will show you our planner and white binder in a minute.

With that done, I clean out, the bookself and drawer with books that Faith no longer uses. Put them in a box to bring to the homeschooling sale next year. Or have it easy to grab if someone wanted to look at our for sale items. I also put all the R&S books that we are not using in another box to place that away. Then I can move in new books as needed.

Here are a few shots of things that I have yet to figure out. What and where to put things. I am hoping that when we move to the classroom this planning will go much better.
As you see extra books, game, crafts, all that kind of thing is everywhere in this small space. Not easy for Faith to get at things, for that matter not easy for me....
Now for some exciting news for me, any way. I had a wonderful mom help me plan our year and yes I mention it again and I am thanking her again. This is how my dear husband put the two planners together for us.

Didn't he do a great job. I am glad that evey year it will get better.
Then we had to copy the blacklines and I had to cut all the test out of Faith's books, so I placed all this paper in two black binders.

On the other side of the box are my books. Which when Bible School starts in the fall will only add to this pile. Also here is some of the books I am trying to find the time to read.

Then if that wasn't enough today I got my dear husband to help me with some of the things I need for teaching Faith, Critical Thinking Skills.

I asked him if he wanted to tackle the math posters to be made but the shapes were enough for one night. I am one happy wife. While we were tracing and cutting, Faith came over and joined in for some fun to.

It was a slow start trying to get Faith to want to school today, in the end she got lots of work done and I felt so good that I tackled something I had been putting off for months. Getting grade 1 stuff out and grade 2 stuff in. Now that everything looks so good and has it's place, I bet both Faith and I will be more excited to sit at the kicthen table.
God Bless.
Let's just always remember that it's not the outside cleanest that is most important, remember to clean the inside daily.
Matthew 23:25-27 (New King James Version) 25 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness. |
