1. Bible Study-Devotions

I have started another Beth Moore bible study with ladies from our church. 

We are doing The Patriarchs.  Great study.  My goal is to stay on task and do all five days of homework.  I love Beth Moore bible studies.  She always brings fresh revelation from God's word. 

Memory verse for the week:  James 1:2-3  "Consider it all joy my brethren when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance"


2. Must Do's:

* Begin planning for the holidays.  Preparing a calendar with important dates, activities, and shopping lists.  I want to concentrate on a theme for our advent studies and begin planning the lessons. 

**Begin cleaning out the girls dresser drawers and closets in preparation to switch out their clothes for the season change. 

3. Zones:

I don't do "zones".  I clean on a I'm in the room, what needs cleaned basis.  Currently that would be closets in our basement.  I think the basement will be the zone for the week.  The floor could used a good vacuum and the furniture a nice dusting. 

4. Train them Up:

Unfortunately a spirit of arguing has crept into our house.  In allowing our children to discuss things with them, I have not properly disciplined their arguing.  I'm working on this with all of them. I'm attempting to teach them how to speak kindly, graciously and gently.  But back-talk and arguing will not be acceptable.   

"Do everything without arguing or complaining"  Phillipians 2:14

5. Menu:

Monday:  Chicken n' Rice

Tuesday:  Grilled ham and cheese sandwiches and Potatoe Soup

Wednesday:  Easy Pepperoni Pizza wraps

Thursday:  Crock-pot Roast Beef with potatoes and carrotts.

Friday:  Left-over roast beef and Soup
