~Show N' Tell Friday~
This week I wanted to show n' tell our tea time, but Monday left me to wiped out to. I spent Tuesday catching up on school work after character issues on Monday. Next though I'll share it!
For this week I'm going to share a beautiful statue that my husband brought back from Africa.
It is hand-carved, my husband purchased it from the gentleman who made it. He paid $2, a small bottle of hand soap, a cheap pocket knife, and a package of gum for this. He carried it in his back pack, wrapped in a sweat shirt on the 26 hour plane ride home.

He is soooooooooooo CUTE ! I have a thing for African art. My Grandpa ( my mom's dad) was a missionary in Africa when my mom was 16 and there was 5 of them kids and my Grandma. I can't imagine. I have a few African pieces and this one is a treasure !!! I am sure the kids love it. I love the story that went behind it. ( oh btw.. you linked your other Friday post to my Mr. Linky .
