~Friday Show N' Tell~

Join Mary @ her blog for other great Friday Show N' Tells.
We did have tea this week, it was fun! But I forgot to take pictures. So I'm sharing another fun memory this week.
Last Saturday our Awana's had their racing of pinewood cars, called the Awana Grand Prix. This was the first year that our church allowed the Cubbies to race also. Dad and the girls put together their racing cars!

Grace is all about pink! She had pink supergirl stickers on it!
The day of the race everyone was excited!

Elizabeth with her friend watching the race.

Grace got 1st place out of three racers.

Liz got 3rd place in her Spark race.
They each got McDonald's Happy Meal gift certificates, which was one of their favorite parts.
Hebrews 12:1
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

My daughters did this when they were little. Our church would do a huge party with it. It was so much fun!

Time flies when you are not looking. Enjoy the moment. It wasn't that long ago, when my kids were in Awana.

We have ours in a couple months! Last year we had five racers in the race, this year only three as the older girls aren't in TNT this year.
Pink is very fast I hear.

ahh the grand prix! we had one church that had the great yacht race in place of the grand prix one year. They made boats and blew them down rain gutters with water. It was so much fun!

Pink is also one of my favorite colors. When my 4-yr old boy sees the color pink he always makes a comment "Mama, that's your favorite." and then wonders why it is. I am wondering what color my little girl will enjoy.

Great photos!
My sister's daughter is all about pink too. Recently she got a perfect attendance award and whined to her teacher because it was on peach and not pink paper, "You know I only like pink!"
