^*^*~Spring Reading Challenge~*^*^

Katrina @ Callapidder Days is having her annual Spring Reading Thing.
This is a great challenge for me. I've recently joined the Christian Fiction Blog Alliance. I'm looking forward to some new Christian fiction to read. Plus I have my 2008 reading list sitting idle.
The challenge runs from March 20th through June 19, 2008.
FICTION titles:
1. The Big Picture by Jennie B. Jones
2. Healing Promises by Amy Wallace
3. Embrace Me by Lisa Samson
4. Broken Angel by Sigmund Brouwer
5. Ruby Among Us by Tina Ann Forkner
NON-FICTION titles:
1. The Heart of Wisdom by Robin Sampson
2. Disappointment with God by Phillip Yancey
(I've plugged along in this book, only to put it away and not complete it. I must complete it!)
3. Let the Nations be Glad by John Piper
(I'm half way through this great book, I want to finish it!)
4. Experiencing the Resurrection: The Everyday Encounter That Changes Your Life by Henry Blackaby and Mel Blackaby
5. To Busy Not To Pray by Bill Hybels
FAMILY READ-ALOUDS titles:
1. Black Beauty by Anna Sewell
2. Five Little Peppers and How They Grew by Margaret Sidney
3. The Yearling by Marjorie Rawlings
4. The Wheel on the School by Meindert De Jong
BIBLE READING:
The Books of Job, Acts & Romans.
That should be enough to keep me busy. I'm imagining warmer days at the park playing and reading together over picnic lunches. And rainy days curled up with hot tea and a good book.

Hi Linda, reading your blog a nd about your reading habits makes me think I am looking in the mirror. I have so many books that I am reading all at one time. I really need to discipline myself to only one book at a time.
It sounds like you all are doing great in school. I know you & your girls will feel strength from God after taking communion.
Talk to you soon. Blessings, TRaci

I just finished Experiencing the Resurrection and really liked it. And I usually like books by Yancey and Piper as well. Thanks for being part of SRT '08!
