~Homeschooling in Iowa---on Iowa TV Channel~
Our local TV channel aired this piece on homeschooling last month. For the most part it is good, the parts that made me cringe were comments from the Iowa Director of Education.

I thought this was a very balanced look at home school. Even the Director of Education was honest in stating that she doesn't see a whole lot of abuse and doesn't have statistics on whether homeschooling is better or worse.
I think this is as positive as we can hope for from people whose job and livelihood depend on maintaining the status quo.
