We enjoyed a relaxing weekend camping and boating at Red Rock Lake near Pella and Knoxville, Iowa.  The is an Army Corps of Engineer's lake and campground that is not overcrowded and well-maintained.  The girls enjoyed tubing on our new three-person tube.  I even was brave enough to let Grace take an easy spin around the lake in it with Jennifer and her friend.  I prayed a lot!

This camp ground was filled with beautiful trees and in Grace's words "Great nature!"  One evening Grace and I were walking to the bathhouse and a fawn walked three feet in front of us on the road.  I also saw many birds including blue birds up close.
