I have drooled over this bible curriculum for the past two years. I was so blessed to receive Grapevine studies wonderful products to review for the TOS Crew.
Self-proclaimed as "stick-figuring the bible", it is a wonderful, comprehensive bible study for the whole family. The author of these studies has went into a lot of detail to use inductive methods to study the bible with children of all ages.
For review the girls and I received the Old Testament Overview.
I received the teacher's edition in hard copy.

Price: $24.95
Each of my daughters recieved the e-book copy for their reading level:
Jennifer-Level 4

Price: $28.95
Elizabeth~Level 2

Price: $19.95
Grace~Beginner

Price: $19.95
Although each of the girls received a different level, it was very easy to use my 3-4 Teacher's manual to lead them in their lessons every day. Jennifer's level 4 lessons have excellent lessons in how to use a topical Bible, Bible dictionary and Bible commentary. Grace's pages have a bigger area for her to draw her stick figures in, because younger hands have a harder time drawing small. We all work together for about thirty minutes each day to go through the lessons.
The first part of this overview was a Bible outline of the Old Testament. We spent about seven days of going over major events of the Old Testament. It was a wonderful foundation for a more inductive study that follows in the individual plans. I appreciate how Dianna Wiebe(the author) has summarized the major events using simple yet meaningful stick figures and drawing. In Jennifer's book, she then had a space to write in the exact books of the bible that these events take place. This lead to wonderful discussions about the why the Bible is in this order, about how the Bible came to be and who did write the Bible.
The lessons are layed out in a simple to follow style which are to age level. I appreciated how the teacher's manual has the student page numbers on each of it's pages as well. This made it much easier for us all to follow along together. Jennifer's additional activities made beneficial use of the time that she has to wait while I help Grace. The color coding of certain drawings are similar to what Kay Arthur teaches in her Precept classes. I think this will be helpful for the girls to carry through in their bible study throughout their lives. Each lesson has great review questions and focused memory verses, which are an important part of our lives.
I believe these books will take us the full school year to complete. We have all learned a lot from them and the drawing is helping us to not only learn about the Bible but to cement the truths in our minds. This ultimately establishes a knowledge of the scriptures that will set our hope only in Him and His Truths found their.
Here are a few of the girls pages:

After we complete these lessons I plan to purchase the Multi-Level Biblical Feasts and Holy Days Student Book , then we will do the New Testament Overview.
During the review process, I was impressed time and again by the author of these studies, Dianna Wiebe. Her committment to customer service is phenomenal. The hardcopy that I received via mail, was carefully packaged and arrived quickly. She made herself available for questions and answered emails promptly. She has a heart for the Lord and serving us her customers. I encourage you to read this newsletter online.
I highly recommend this product and give it an A.
The cost is appropriate for the amount of material and knowledge that we are learning, the customer service is fabulous and the lessons are engaging.
~Blessed beyond measure!
