Yummy Apple Crisps....

Yummy Apple Crisps
Ingredients
2 small apple(s), Red Delicious or Gala, sliced paper-thin
1 Tbsp sugar (I use Splenda)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°F.
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper (not wax paper). Place apple slices in a single layer on paper; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Bake until lightly browned, about 2 hours. Cool on wire rack and serve.

Healthy Broccoli Salad...
I made this delicious salad yesterday. It is one of my husband's favorite.
Thought I'd share...
Healthy Broccoli Salad

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup bacon bits
1 head fresh broccoli florets
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 red onion, chopped
1 cup Fat Free Miracle Whip
1/4 cup Splenda
1 teaspoon Red Wine Vinegar
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup hulled sunflower seeds

DIRECTIONS:
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside. (I use turkey bacon sometimes also)
In a large bowl, mix together the bacon, broccoli, cheese,onion. If you would like add optional raisins and sunflower seeds.
In a small bowl, whisk together the vinegar, salad dressing and splenda. Pour over broccoli mixture and toss well to coat.
Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
Makes 6 servings...without rasins and sunflower seeds...180 calories, 10gms fat.
