at are in Pinellas Park ( ST Pete co-op) and the other
in Dunedin (HOP).....WE WILL BE DOING A SHOW ON AUG 17
from 10- till 1 at the St Pete co-ops Meet & Greet

The classes will cover subjects such as dance floor
etiquette, rhythms, history of the dances and
technique in Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha and
Swing( to name a few).We'll be pairing up teams until
we have partners that fit each other in size and
ability . Since Ballroom Dancing (Dance Sport) has
been accepted into the Olympics, we may have a
wonderful start in having some representatives in our
own backyard!! With all the TV shows such as "SO you
Think you can dance" and "Dancing with the Stars"
ballroom dancing is well on it's way back into the
hearts of the people that enjoy this form dance.

I believe boys need to learn how to
ask a girl to dance in a proper fashion and that girls
should learn how to accept or decline graciously,
which helps build self confidence and self esteem .
Dance etiquette skills will be valuable for them in
many social situations from school dances, to proms ,
weddings ,and in relationships as they mature.

Please let me know if you are interested in this dance
course. I will consider doing this at co-ops, and
can choreograph to the groups' music perference.
For those not in the homeschooling co-ops ..I also
teach private and will still find partners for you!
NOW, for the adults: You are welcome to have a class,:
**ALSO**I have had a number of ladies request me to
choregraph a workout program to their favorite piece
of music . This is a great way of losing weight as you
do your homechores. Spiritual music, oldies or pop
rock can be used for you own personal dance routine.
One of my favorite pieces is Girls Just Want to Have
Fun to sweep or mop with!! This can be done at your
home, mine or as a group for a Mom's class.**Be
prepared to laugh!!

I will set the date for these classes as soon as
possible. Co-Op committees, please contact me if you
have an interest in these classes.
