New Homeschooling Group - Florida
Liberty Homeschoolers Support Group& Private School.
Free support group membership!
Liberty Homeschoolers is a non christian-based homeschool support group.
We meet monthly August-May. All are welcome regardless of race and
religion. We also offer a private school covering for homeschoolers
nationwide.

Homeschool Community!
Classical Conversations is a homeschool community that is experiencing
explosive growth in the Orlando area. Would your family benefit from
joining one of our Classical, Christian Communities? We are adding
additional programs in our area and wanted you to know.

Last year in our Foundations program (PK-6th) here is just a sample of what
our students learned:
* 160 events & people in a chronological timeline
* 24 history sentences to "put some flesh" on our timeline
(Charlemagne,Reformation, Renaissance, World Wars, . )43 U.S. presidents
* Over 100 locations and geographic features in Europe, Asia and
select parts of the World.
* 24 science facts (biomes, planets, laws of motion, laws of
thermodynamics, . )
* Latin verbs the first conjugation
* English Grammar facts (including pronouns, adjectives,adverbs, .)
* Multiplication tables up to 15x15, common squares and cubes, as well
as basic geometry formulas and unit conversions
That's over 500 pieces of information and doesn't even include...
. Exposure to drawing techniques
. Music theory and tin whistle
. 6 Great Artists and related projects
. Introduction to orchestra and 3 classical composers
. Weekly science experiments or hands-onprojects.
. The practicing and refinement of oral presentation skills!

A Classical Education Home School Support Group
A Classical Education Home School Group
Enhance your Classical Home Education!
New groups are forming now and accepting applications for the
2008/2009 school year!
We are a Classical, Christian group which provides a Community and
Accountability!
For ages Pre-K – High School
Students (along with a parent) will join others their age while
learning art, presentation skills and doing science projects as well
as working on memory work in subjects of History, Geography, Science,
Math, Grammar and Latin!

Broward Christian Homeschoolers (BCH) invites you to their Annual South-Florida Homeschool Orientation...
This year's theme is "Homeschooling Is So Much More".
When: Saturday, August 4th 2007 (8:30AM - 3:00PM)

Cost: This event is FREE!
Whether you are new to homeschooling, a veteran home educator, or simply interested in what homeschooling is all about, you will definitely enjoy this day of encouragement, informative speakers, curriculum vendors, and door prizes!
Note: This year's event has been very blessed in the number and types of door prizes that have been donated! Also, FREE goody bags stuffed with homeschool magazines and information will be available for as long as supplies last.
Homeschooling convention speaker, renowned lecturer and author of "Using the Internet in Your Homeschool", Cindy Prechtel, will be presenting "Real Learning for Real Life" and "Learning Styles & Curriculums". To learn more about Cindy, please visit www.homeschoolingfromtheheart.com.
Lectures and workshops throughout the day will cover the laws pertaining to homeschooling in Florida, portfolios & record keeping, curriculums, testing & evaluations, high school, sports activities for homeschoolers, the FPEA, and much more!
Some of this year's vendors will be Bright Minds, Homeschooling From The Heart, Florida Parent-Educators Association, Christian Homeschool Athletic Association (CHAA SAINTS), Sunshine Learning Center, Creation Studies Institute, the FPEA Scholarship Fund, HIS Players Drama Troupe, South-Florida HEAT (SF HEAT), Christian Homeschool Family Fun Fest and others!
Additionally, children's author Andrew Toffoli will be available for book signing after 1:00PM.
Complimentary coffee & lemonade will be available throughout the day.
Lunch items will be available for purchase, with the proceeds to benefit the annual South-Florida Christian Homeschool Prom.

are a homeschool support group of special needs children and their
