I just found a great website completely by accident! It's called Expert
Rating. They offer professional testing like typing and computer
skills, but they have a section for free quizzes. They have quizzes for
everything from geography to history to science--even bible quizzes!
Some of the quizzes are designed for children and others are more
general. Most of the ones that could be used for homeschool, like the
history and geography, would work well for about fourth grade and up.

HI. Im am a newbie to this site and to homeschooling as well, but am
grateful to all of the wonderful things that are posted here. I came
across a website tonight that I thought was great and it might be of
help to some others if you already dont know about it. You can change
the grade level with the purple arrows at the top of the page. I
believe that its K-8. Enjoy!

Curious George has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I just
love to read his books and follow his mischief! Now one of my lucky
readers will be able to enjoy H.A. Rey's original book published in
1941 about our favorite little monkey! I will be giving away a paperback
