Greetings To All Our Fellow Homeschooling Families & Friends!


It's that time of again to mark our calendars for what has
become over the years an anticipated event in our 
South-Florida homeschool community.  

The 2006 (5th Annual) Christian Homeschool Family Fun Fest
is scheduled to be held again at TY Park in Hollywood on
Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Pavilions 0 & 1.  Like 
previous Fun Fests, the 2006 event promises to have all 
the activities from past years - PLUS MUCH MORE.

which can be downloaded if you have the Adobe Acrobat
software on your computer.

Pre-registration ends on December 15, 2005 so be sure 
to get your registration form mailed in by then in 
order to take advantage of the discounted registration
fee of only $4.00 per person ($20.00 for families of 
5 or more immediate members).  After December 15th, the 
registration fee will be $5.00 per person ($25.00 for 
families of 5 or more immediate members).

Here's what is currently scheduled...

* Awesome Truck Day - TY Park has informed the Fun Fest
that their annual Awesome Truck Day will be held in January
2006 and that there is a good chance it will be held again 
on the same day as Fun Fest as it has been in the past.     

* Sports Activities - Rick Andreassen (Mr. Rick) and 
the coaches of the Christian Homeschool Athletic Association
CHAA Saints) will be providing various sports related 
activities.  

* Live Christian Music - At least 3 bands from the large
outdoor stage - more if we go to 2 days! 

* Contests - If you've been to a past Fun Fest, then you 
know how much fun these can be.     

* Student Performances - Homeschoolers from different 
local support groups will provide acting, singing, 
musical and dance performances from the outdoor stage.     

* Petting Zoo - Those cuddly fur balls will be back!  

* Pony Rides - Ride 'em cowboys and cowgirls!        

* Midway - Rock climbing, bounce houses and more!   

* Door Prizes and Giveaways - At least one person in 
every family gets something!  Last year's prizes 
included a couple of FREE 2-night stays at an Orlando
resort that included 2 FREE tickets to Universal Studios!    

* Unlimited FREE Drinks - Ice-cold spring water, tea, 
fruit punch & lemonade! 

* Food & Stuff - Popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, 
hot dogs, hamburgers and sodas will be sold as a 
fundraiser for different homeschool related organizations. 

* Demonstrations - The Broward County Sheriff Department
and Fire Department will be back.  Past Fun Fests have 
included the Canine Squad, the Mounted Posse, the 
Fingerprinting Mobile and a fire truck! 

* Plus Much, Much More!
