Time does fly, and it is that time again to start thinking about the 2006
Daytona 500. The race will be held on Sunday, February 19th. We at the Daytona
International Speedway and Q & A Entertainment have been preparing for this show
for months, and we will soon announce all of the superstar performers in the
show. If you participated with us before, we would love to have you join us
again and if you werent able to, we would love for you to join us this year.
This year we are looking to make the show even bigger and better with a cast of
over 2,500 performers. NBC Television will be broadcasting the 10 minute show
as part of their Race Day coverage on NBC Sports!
There are a few things you must know and agree to in order to participate this
year. We will not accept your on line application and consider you for the show
if all of the following criteria are not under understood and met. They are:
1.. This is a VOLUNTEER position
2.. You must live in Florida or have already secured your overnight
accommodations in the Daytona Beach area. We do not provide accommodations.
3.. You must be available for rehearsal ALL DAY on Saturday, February 18th and
for the show performance ALL day on Sunday, February 20th to be considered.
4.. The roles in the show include prop carriers, banner carriers, dancers.
You will learn everything that you need to know for the show at the rehearsal.

Please note that there are only a limited amount of positions in the show and a
guaranteed role is on a first come first served basis. So if you have friends
or family, please have them send us applications as soon as possible. Everyone
must fill out an application to be a part of the show.
We will then contact you confirming your participation in the show.
ALL ON-LINE APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY JANUARY 15TH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR
THIS YEARS SHOW.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OLD TO PARTICIPATE with parental consent.
