The American Lung Association of Florida ­ Southeast Area is offering four
$1,000 tuition scholarships to students who have been diagnosed by a physician
as having asthma. Applicants must be a graduating senior, high school graduate
or GED recipient no older than 25. Students planning to attend an accredited
U.S. university, college, community college, professional school, technical
school or trade school that leads to a diploma or certification may apply. The
deadline is March 1.

Scholarship recipients will be notified no later than May 1. Monies will be paid
directly to the educational institution in July for students starting in the
fall.
