Dear Homeschool Families,

The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse and the Marine Science Center are pleased to invite
you to our upcoming Homeschool Day, to be held on March 1, 2006.   Many of you
have already made reservations for this event, and we thank you for your
participation.

If you have not made your reservation, please review the following list of
workshops and activities, to fascinate and educate, that will be available to
your children that day.   Please make your reservations soon,.

Hopefully, those of you who attended our last event will come back and bring
other homeschool families with you.  Please feel free to send this "invitation"
to others in your organizations.

We look forward to seeing you on March 1st.

Sincerely,

HOMESCHOOL DAY

On Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from 10am to 4pm, the Marine Science Center and the
Ponce de Leon Inlet Light Station will join forces to present educational and
fun events, designed especially for homeschool family groups.

The Marine Science Center, an education based facility-offering exhibits on
Florida habitats, ecology, and wildlife, is also a turtle and bird
rehabilitation facility. The Ponce Inlet Light Station, located next door, is an
1887 lighthouse facility, and the most complete and authentic large light
station remaining in the United States.

On March 1st, there will be many special exhibits, workshops, performances and
educational activities for you to choose from, at both facilities.

Center, 386-304-5545, or by contacting Bob Callister at the Ponce Inlet
Lighthouse at 386-761-1821.

Because the Marine Science Center and the Ponce Inlet Light Station are separate
institutions, each must charge separately for this event.

?        The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse admission is: $3.75 for adults (12 years old
and up), and $1.00 for children (11 years and younger).  Infants are admitted at
no charge.

?        The Marine Science Center admission is: $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for
students (ages 5 to 12), and children under 5 are free.

After registering for this event, you will be sent a Registration Confirmation
Form and a Payment Calculation Form, giving further information about where and
when to arrive on March 1st.

?        Payment may be made when you arrive, OR you may save time by prepaying,
and receive your ?tickets? by return mail. When you prepay for this event, the
wristbands, that will be mailed to you, will contain your time and place of
entry for this event.  For more information, see the Registration Confirmation
Form that will be sent to you after registration.

Please note that both facilities prohibit large backpacks, water bottles, food
and drink, games, toys, radios, and pets on the grounds.

Please register as soon as possible for this unique Homeschool event.

Where is Ponce Inlet?  We are located on the beachside just south of Daytona
Beach.  From I-95, take exit # 256 and proceed east on Dunlawton Avenue to the
oceanfront.  Turn right on South Atlantic Avenue and travel approximately 5
miles.  Signs will direct you to the lighthouse and to the Marine Science
Center.
