Book Study Forum

Posted in Working Out My Salvation With Fear and Trembling

I've mentioned this before at my blog but I thought I'd mention it again. There is, for those who are interested, a forum available for book studies and Torah based discussions. Many of the books listed are books I have in my Book Review category. The group is small and not terribly active which is nice for those of us who can't commit to an intense forum or an extremely busy one. This one is low-key and relaxed with people popping in and out as they have time.

The forum is intended for those who are investigating the Torah pursuant believers life as well as those who have set foot on that journey and are looking for others to share with. The book discussions take place as someone reads one of the listed books or reads a book they want to share with others. There are sections for women only and men only as well as a category for how we apply the Torah to our every day lives.

So I thought I'd write a little blurb about this new(er) forum and invite anyone who is interested to come and share their ideas and thoughts, to ask questions or share insight. The group is open to anyone who wants to participate, so feel free to join in. The forum is Following The Ancient Paths Forum.

Wednesday, September 6, 2006 - Homeschooling in Wisconsin

Posted by MarlaMom

Thanks for stopping by my blog. My husband is actually not working too far from Reedsburg - about 33 miles East of there. The second church that I found (the one that has the homeschoolers meeting on Fridays) is in Baraboo. That's about 16 miles from your friend's town.

We've actually lived in LaCrosse, WI before, but that's on the very West side of the state. We have traveled quite a bit across the state and we love it. I'm so glad we are going to be staying in this area. Minnesota is beautiful too so I would have been happy (location-wise) in either place.

You are in a beautiful area also - okay, I meet be assuming here. I love the Seattle area and the Spokane area, but there is a bunch in between that leaves a little to be desired! I have lots of relatives in Spokane and even lived there for a summer after graduating from Bible college. That's another place that I would move back to in a heartbeat, if the Lord desired it.

Hello....I followed your comment from another blog and just wanted to say your blog is very interesting. I do not have a lot of knowledge about the things of which you write but it is very interesting. I'll be back to visit.

God's best to you~

Apologize for being off-topic here. I wanted to reply to your comment from the other day re: nutrition, etc.

Yes, whoda thunk it! ;-)
I think it's wonderful how the children have made such good progresses since becoming part of your family! It's certainly very encouraging knowing these little life lessons have sunk in so much that they are sharing them with their relatives! Let's hope for the relative's sake it rubs off! :-)

I praise God for bringing them under your roof.
Blessings!
