The Jihad Candidate - by Rich Carroll
Conspiracy theories make for interesting novels when the storyline is
not so absurd that it can grasp our attention. 'The Manchurian
Candidate' and 'Seven Days in May' are examples of plausible chains of
events that captures the reader's imagination at best-seller level.
'What if' has always been the solid grist of fiction.
Get yourself something cool to drink, find a relaxing position, but
before you continue, visualize the television photos of two jet
airliners smashing into the Twin Towers in lower Manhattan and remind
yourself this cowardly act of Muslim terror was planned for eight
years.
How long did it take Islam and their oil money to find a candidate for
President of the United States? As long as it took them to place a
Senator from Illinois and Minnesota? The same amount of time to create
a large Muslim enclave in Detroit? The time it took them to build over
2,000 mosques in America? The same amount of time required to place
radical wahabbist clerics in our military and prisons as 'chaplains'?
Find a candidate who can get away with lying about their father being
a 'freedom fighter' when he was actually part of the most corrupt and
violent government in Kenya's history. Find a candidate with close
ties to The Nation of Islam and the violent Muslim overthrow in
Africa, a candidate who is educated among white infidel Americans but
hides his bitterness and anger behind a superficial toothy smile.
Find a candidate who changes his American name of Barry to the Muslim
name of Barak Hussein Obama, and dares anyone to question his true
ties under the banner of 'racism'. Nurture this candidate in an
atmosphere of anti-white American teaching and surround him with
Islamic teachers. Provide him with a bitter, racist, anti-white,
anti-American wife, and supply him with Muslim middle east connections
and Islamic monies. Allow him to be clever enough to get away with his
anti-white rhetoric and proclaim he will give $834 billion taxpayer
dollars to the Muslim controlled United Nations for use in Africa.
Install your candidate in an atmosphere of deception because
questioning him on any issue involving Africa or Islam would be seen
as 'bigoted racism'; two words too powerful to allow the citizenry to
be informed of facts. Allow your candidate to employ several black
racist Nation of Islam Louis Farrakhan followers as members of his
Illinois Senatorial and campaign staffs.
Where is the bloodhound American 'free press' who doggedly overturned
every stone in the Watergate case? Where are our nation's reporters
that have placed every Presidential candidate under the microscope of
detailed scrutiny; the same press who pursue Bush's 'Skull and Bones'
club or ran other candidates off with persistent detective and
research work? Why haven't 'newsmen' pursued the 65 blatant lies told by this candidate during the Presidential primaries? Where
are the stories about this candidate's cousin and the Muslim butchery
in Africa? Since when did our national press corps become weak, timid,
and silent? Why haven't they regaled us with the long list of
socialists and communists who have surrounded this 'out of nowhere'
Democrat candidate or that his church re-printed the Hamas Manifesto
in their bulletin, and that his 'close pastor friend and mentor' met
with Middle East terrorist Moammar Gaddafi, (Guide of the First of
September Great Revolution of the Socialist People's Libyan Arab
Jamahiriya) Why isn't the American press telling us this candidate is
supported by every Muslim organization in the world?
As an ultimate slap in the face, be blatant in the fact your candidate
has ZERO interest in traditional American values and has the most
liberal voting record in U.S. Senate history. Why has the American
main stream media clammed-up on any negative reporting on Barak
Hussein Obama? Why will they print Hillary Rodham Clinton's name but
never write his middle name? Is it not his name? Why, suddenly, is ANY
information about this candidate not coming from main stream media,
but from the blogosphere by citizens seeking facts and the truth? Why
isn't our media connecting the dots with Islam? Why do they focus on
'those bad American soldiers' while Islam slaughters non Muslims daily
in 44 countries around the globe? Why does our media refer to Darfur as
'ethnic cleansing' instead of what it really is; Muslims killing non
Muslims! There is enough strange, anti-American activity surrounding
Barak Hussein Obama to peek the curiosity of any reporter. WHERE IS
OUR INVESTIGATIVE MEDIA!?
A formal plan for targeting America was devised three years after the
Iranian revolution in 1982. The plan was summarized in a 1991
memorandum by Mohamed Akram, an operative of the global Muslim
Brotherhood. 'The process of settlement' of Muslims in America, Akram
explained, 'is a civilization jihad process.' This means that members
of the Brotherhood must understand that their work in 'America is a
kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western
civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their
hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and
God's religion is made victorious over all other religions.'
There is terrorism we can see, smell and fear, but there is a new kind
of terror invading The United States in the form of Sharia law and
finance. Condoning it is civilization suicide. Middle East Muslims are
coming to America in record numbers and building hate infidel mosques,
buying our corporations, suing us for our traditions, but they and the
whole subject of Islam is white noise leaving uninformed Americans
about who and what is really peaceful. Where is our investigative
press? Any criticism of Islam or their intentions, even though Islamic
leaders state their intentions daily around the globe, brings-forth a
volley of 'racist' from the left-wing Democrat crowd.
Lies and deception behind a master plan - the ingredients for 'The
Manchurian Candidate' or the placement of an anti-American President
in our nation's White House? Is it mere coincidence that an
anti-capitalist run for President at the same time Islamic sharia
finance and law is trying to make advancing strides into the United
States? Is it mere coincidence this same candidate wants to dis-arm
our nuclear capability at a time when terrorist Muslim nations are
expanding their nuclear weapons capability? Is it mere coincidence
this candidate wants to reduce our military at a time of global jihad
from Muslim nations?
Change for America? What change? To become another 'nation of Islam'?
'It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God or the Bible.' George Washington
COULD IT BE THE REASON OUR COUNTRY HAS NOT BEEN UNDER ATTACK SINCE 9-11 BECAUSE THE MUSLIMS HAVE AN AGENDA TO TAKE OVER OUR GOVERNMENT BY PLACING A MUSLIM IN THE PRESIDENCY. IT MAY COME TO PASS IF AMERICANS DON'T WAKE UP!!!!!!

Lemongrass Essential Oil -- Nature's Secret to Lowering Dangerous Cholesterol Levels
Lemongrass Oil on NOW Sale Through August 15th
The link between Lemongrass Essential Oil and cholesterol was investigated by researchers from the Department of Nutritional Sciences, University of Wisconsin, who published their findings in the medical journal Lipids in 1989. They conducted a clinical trial involving 22 people with high cholesterol who took two 140-mg capsules of Lemongrass oil daily. Cholesterol was lowered from 310 to 294 on average—other people in the study experienced a significant decrease in blood fats. The latter group, characterized as responders, experienced a 25-point drop in cholesterol after one month, and this positive trend continued over the course of the short study. After three months, cholesterol levels among the responders had decreased by a significant 38 points. Once the responders stopped taking lemongrass, their cholesterol returned to previous levels. It should be noted that this study did not involve a placebo group, which is usually used to help measure the effects of the agent being studied (in this case, lemongrass oil).
NOTE: Two 140 mg Gel Caps is equal to Two "00" Caps.

• Jun. 3, 2006 - Fun Science Experiment
We went to my friend’s house the other day to do a science experiment. All the kids were either primary or pre-school ages. I even thought it was fun!
We started with a tall root beer mug and poured in ˝ cup of corn syrup, then ˝ cup of water, carefully so as not to disturb the corn syrup too much. Then cooking oil and then alcohol.
Then the kids took turns dropping objects into the mug to see what would float in which liquid. Things like a coin, paper clips, raisins, a grape, plastic coin, plastic jack, a tiny wooden house, and toothpick. Sarah wanted to put in food coloring. That was surprising to me; it fell through the alcohol and settled on top of the oil.
Then when the kids were finished dropping things in we stirred it up. The corn syrup would not mix in much at all. The oil and food coloring made it all blue and bubbly, it was kind of pretty. When it settled it formed three layers.
The object was to learn about density. (I had to ask.)

• May. 22, 2006 - Ideas for Using the "Essential 7 Kit"
Ideas for Using the "Essential 7 Kit"
by LYNN WELD
Lynn has given permission to pass this along.
Remember, these and all testimonials are meant for information only never for diagnosing or prescribing.
LAVENDER is the most "universal" oil. (When in doubt, use lavender.) It's antiseptic, analgesic. antitumoral, sedative, anti-inflammatory. Wonderful effects with healing burns! Since Lavender is anti-tumoral, I apply it to my chest & abdomen (about 3 drops) after showering. Then, as with all the oils, I cup my hands (over nose & mouth) & inhale deeply 3 times. When I started using these oils (7/99), I had wicked pain in my right calf. It was nerve damage, due to an old (35 year) knee injury. This thing was excruciating. In the beginning, I tried PanAway, which had very little effect. Then, I tried Lavender & Peppermint (2 drops of each) on my knee & calf. The relief was immediate! I did this twice daily for about a month. Since, I've had absolutely no pain!
LEMON is anti-infectious, disinfectant, antibacterial, antiseptic, & antiviral. It can improve circulation, promote white blood cell formation & improve immune function. I use this daily on the bottoms of my feet (2 drops per foot). As a result, my spider veins are going away. I also used to have a foot odor problem if I wore shoes with any man-made materials. I can wear anything now with no problem! When I'm not sure of water purity, I put a drop in my glass of water (tastes great too)! I mix a drop in a teaspoon of water & wipe the kitchen counter to kill bacteria (makes the kitchen smell fresh too). I mix a few drops in a small amount of warm water to clean our Weber grill (really cuts the grease)!
PEPPERMINT is anticarcinogenic, supports digestion, decongestant, anti-infectious, antibacterial, antifungal, stimulant, cardiotonic, stimulates gallbladder, pain-relieving, expectorant & anti-inflammatory for the urinary & intestinal tracts. On a hot day, I put a drop in a glass of cold water & drink. It cools me down right away, even on the hottest days when I'm working out in the yard. I rub a couple drops on temples, forehead, over sinuses (not too close to my eyes) & on the back of my neck for headaches. I rub it on my joints for arthritis/tendonitis pain. Since the oils have a cumulative effect, I hardly ever have those pains anymore! It's fantastic for any kind of digestive problem (nausea, gas, vomiting, diarrhea, flu, etc.)! I just put a drop on my tongue & rub a couple of drops on my abdomen. I start to feel relief immediately! Anytime I feel feverish, I rub a drop on the bottom of each foot. If I start to feel sleepy (long distance driving), I rub some under my nose, on my neck & inhale deeply.
JOY is an exotic blend of Rose, Bergamot, Mandarin, Ylang Ylang & Lemon. It may bring joy to the heart & help to overcome grief & depression. On days when I feel out-of-sorts (cranky, frustrated, depressed, etc.), I rub a drop over my heart & a drop on the bottom of each foot. About 5 minutes later, I realize I'm no longer in a bad mood! In the beginning, this was the only fragrance I didn't especially care for. Now, I like the aroma so much that I sometimes wear it as a perfume! If I have to drive in heavy traffic, I can handle the stress a lot better too.
PANAWAY is a blend of Helichrysum, Birch or Wintergreen, Clove & Peppermint. It helps reduce inflammation, increasing circulation & healing, thus, reducing pain. It can give relief from arthritis, sports injuries, sprains, muscle spasms, bumps & bruises. I have an old back injury. Though usually not severe, the pain was sometimes incapacitating. It was especially bad when I first got up in the morning. In the beginning, I rubbed the PanAway (about 3 drops) on my lower back twice a day. The relief was amazing & almost immediate! Also is great whenever I have any stiffness or soreness in my shoulders. As I said, the oils have a cumulative effect. Now, I hardly ever need to use the PanAway because I rarely have any pain! Christian, my son, loves this oil blend! Unfortunately, he suffers from wicked headaches frequently, like I used to. I've seen him apply this to his forehead, temples & neck. Within minutes, he has a big grin on his face! Now, I rarely have a headache & I hope it will be the same for him soon.
PEACE & CALMING is a blend of Blue Tansy, Patchouly, Tangerine, Orange & Ylang Ylang. It's a gentle fragrance that promotes relaxation & a deep sense of peace. This blend can help reduce stress, depression, anxiety & insomnia. It also may calm overactive & hard to manage children. I used to have lots of trouble sleeping. I began rubbing this on the bottoms of my feet & on my shoulders before going to bed & started to get good quality sleep! (Christian says the Lavender works better for him on sleepless nights. We're all different. Don't be afraid to experiment.) Now, I only need to use it when I travel. Sometimes Meisha (our kitten) thinks 3 AM is playtime. If I put a drop on her paws, she'll go right to sleep! Yes, these oils are great for our furry friends too! If I'm feeling stressed, I rub this on the bottoms of my feet (2 drops) & 1 drop on my shoulders. Within minutes, I'm very relaxed!
PURIFICATION is a blend of Citronella, Lemongrass, Lavandin, Rosemary, Melaleuca & Myrtle. When diffused, this antiseptic blend cleanses the air & neutralizes mildew, cigarette smoke & disagreeable odors. It may be used to cleanse cuts, scrapes & neutralize the poison of insect bites (spiders, bees, wasps, etc.), scorpions & rattlesnakes. During winter, when most of our windows are closed, I diffuse this oil blend, to kill airborne viruses & keep the air smelling fresh. If you don't have a diffuser, just put a couple of drops on cotton balls & put them in a few rooms in your house. Once or twice a week, add a couple more drops &
replace the cotton balls once a month. You'll be amazed at how fresh your house will smell! A few weeks ago, there was a bad fire about 40 miles east (Jan.'01) & the wind blew the smoke in our direction. Even with all our windows closed, we were having difficulty breathing. Within 5 minutes of diffusing Purification, we stopped coughing & the soreness in our lungs went away! Sophie is one of our cats. She's quite the hunter & has gotten into trouble a few times (spider bites & wasp stings). Before these oils, she developed vasculitis & I had to take her to a specialist regularly. This & the Lavender have saved us lots of money at the veterinarian's office! I just put a drop of each on her paws & within 15 minutes, she's up & playing again! If I eat chocolate, I sometimes get a "zit". I put a drop of Purification on the area & by the next day, it's gone! To apply the oils, simply tip the bottle & allow drops to fall into your palm. Then, lightly rub on the area. Try to avoid putting on your clothes for 3 minutes. This will allow the oils to absorb completely.
These are all natural PURE THERAPEUTIC GRADE A ESSENTIAL OILS! Since our bodies are all different, we won't all get the same results with the same oils. Experiment till you find what's right for you. The Essential Oil Desk Reference, available through Essential Science Publishing at (800) 336-6308, www.espublishing.com, or from Abundant Health (less cost), at 888-718-3068, www.abundant-health4u.com, is an invaluable source of information & will help you obtain the benefits you want from your oils!

• May. 6, 2006 - Healing Oils of the Bible
"In Proverbs 21:20 we read: “There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise.”
Question: Why would the possession of oil in one’s house be a sign of wisdom? At least 33 different essential oils or aromatic oil-producing plants are mentioned in the Bible.
The word “oil” is mentioned 191 times in the Bible. While “olive oil” is specifically mentioned only 7 times, there are 147 instances where it can be inferred. Olive oil was not only a food, but was burned in lamps for light and used as a base for blending other oils for religious or medicinal purposes. As in Exodus 30:22-31.
“Incense” is mentioned 68 times in the Bible. In 54 of these the oils of frankincense, myrrh, galbanum, and onycha are indicated. In other instances, the Hebrew word translated into English as “incense” was “lebonah”, which is actually frankincense. In only eight of the instances where incense is mentioned are the oils in the formula not identifiable.
In Psalm 45:7-8. Proverbs 27:9, Isaiah 61:3 and Hebrews 1:9 we read of “The Oil of Joy” or “Gladness” and how oils “rejoice the heart.” Essential oils are also referred to in the Bible as “Fragrances,” “odors,” “ointments,” “aromas,” “perfumes,” or “sweet savors.” There are over 600 references to essential oils and/or the aromatic plants from which they were extracted in the Bible.

• Mar. 25, 2006 - Aromatherapy Projects for Kids
When local markets were not available or didn’t carry personal care products housewives made their own cosmetics such as soaps, lotions and creams. When big industry came along people began to look down on homemade cosmetics. The big companies used cheaper synthetic chemicals in their formulas. Synthetic chemicals can often give more immediate results but they can be harsh or even toxic to our systems.
Making your own cosmetics can be a lot of fun and can be something kids can do. A lot of the cosmetics are mixed together with out heating or cooking. Ointments, lip balms and bar lotions are simply heated to the low melting point in a double boiler, so if your kids are used to working at the stove this will be easy for them too. If you don’t want to go through the trouble of making lotions and such you can buy them unscented and add your own essential oils.
For Home Schoolers
These projects can be considered as chemistry, math, health, history, Bible and home economics.
- The study of the chemical make-up of essential oils and herbs can be very extensive, you can find lots of books on the subject at the local public library.
- With math you can double and divide recipes, measure, convert from metric to standard measures, figure how much each recipe makes and how many containers you will need.
- With health you can study the health benefits of essential oils and herbs, even the carrier oils and butters have health benefits.
- You can study how the lack of hygiene and sanitation has affected history and how essential oils and herbs have been used through out history in different countries.
- The Bible mentions spices, probably frankincense and myrrh in the second chapter of Genesis. Aromatic plants are mention1035 times in the Bible!
- Most of these projects you will probably want to do in the kitchen and will use measuring cups and spoons and will need to cover kitchen safety.
Choosing Essential Oils
To help with choosing essential oils to blend together they are usually placed into the following categories:
- Floral, such as lavender, neroli or jasmine
- Woody, such as pine or cedar
- Earthy such as vetiver or patchouli
- Herbaceous such as marjoram rosemary or basil
- Camphorous or medicinal such as eucalyptus or tea tree
- Minty such as peppermint, spearmint and wintergreen
- Spicy such as nutmeg, clove or cinnamon
- Oriental such as ginger or patchouli
- Citrus such as lemon lime or orange
The following suggestions are just that, suggestions, you do not have to follow them, just follow your nose.
- Florals blend well with spicy, citrus and woody oils.
- Woody oils blend well with all categories.
- Spice and oriental oils blend well with florals and citrus oils
- Minty oils blend well with citrus, woody herbaceous and earthy oils.
Recipes
Owie Spray
1oz witch hazel
5 – 6 drops lavender oil (lavandula angustifolia)
2-3 drops tea tree (melaleuca alternifolia)
Pour the witch hazel into a clean mister bottle and add the drops of essential oils. Be sure to shake well before you use it.
Massage Oil Base
150 ml grape seed oil
75 ml wheat germ oil
10 drops vitamin E oil
5 to 20 drops of your favorite essential oil
Pour carrier oils into a clean dark bottle with a spout, then add essential oils 5 drops at a time until you think it has enough. Mix well.
Try:
Lavender with Roman chamomile
Birch with marjoram
Juniper with birch, lemon, rosemary and lavender.
Facial Oil for Oily Skin
1 oz jojoba
3 drops ylang ylang
2 drops lemon oil
2 drops rosewood oil
2 drop geranium
Pour jojoba oil into a clean dark bottle and add the essential oils. Mix well. Use twice a day after cleansing and toning.
All Over Salt Scrub
˝ cup olive oil
˝ cup fine sea salt
Essential oils to suite
Mix olive oil and salt in a clean jar then add your choice of essential oils. Add a few drops at a time until it has enough.
Lotion Bar
8 oz bee’s wax
8 oz shea butter
8 oz cocoa butter
8 oz olive oil
Melt in a double boiler over medium/low heat until it is all melted. Remove from the heat and add your essential oils, a few drops at a time until it has enough. Then pour into containers. The throw away plastic containers with the blue lids work really well. |

• Mar. 24, 2006 - Safety First
I just finished reading e-newsletter from The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, I was glad to see the recipes for cleaning products. I think it is a lot of fun to use essential oils for so many things. Essential oils can be very beneficial to your health, actually one oil can have a number of health and emotional benefits. To keep it safe and fun just follow these simple safety guidelines.
DO:
Always keep a little olive or jojoba oil handy, incase the essential oil causes discomfort. Keep lids of essential oils on tight, they evaporate easily. Keep bottles out of sunlight. Sunlight causes essential oils to break down. Keep all essential oils out of reach of children. If a child swallows an essential oil give them milk or honey. Do a skin test; apply a small amount of essential oil to the inside of the elbow. If an essential oil stings or burns apply any vegetable oil, olive, jojoba, even corn oil. Keep essential oils out eyes, ears and away from mucous membranes. Allow drops of essential oil to fall freely from the bottle with out touching either your skin or another container. Educate yourself about individual essential oils before you use them! I highly recommend Essential Oil Desk Reference , it is loaded with information. My copy is getting worn out!
Epileptics and those with high blood pressure should consult their health care provider before using essential oils. Use caution with hyssop, fennel, basil, birch, nutmeg, rosemary, peppermint, sage, tarragon and Idaho tansy. People with high blood pressure should avoid using sage and rosemary.
DO NOT:
DO NOT touch the orifice reducer (The little plastic thing inside the opening) or the dropper. The orifice reducer is designed to funnel the last little droplets back into the bottle, so if you touch it or allow it to touch another container then contaminates will get into your essential oil and it will go bad. DO NOT try to wash an essential oil off with water; it will only spread on top of the water, instead use a vegetable oil, like olive. DO NOT go into the sun for prolonged length of time after using citrus essential oils, they cause sensitivity to sunlight. DO NOT use essential oils on pregnant women. (Most therapeutic grade essential oils are safe to use on pregnant women but it is better to be safe. I had one lady tell me she had a miscarriage because they used peppermint on her face during a facial. There is nothing in peppermint oil that as the ability to cause a miscarriage but she would not believe me!) DO NOT use essential oils in metal containers, unless it is stainless steal or a steamer unless specially designed for aromatherapy, because it will react with the metal parts and cause corrosion. DO NOT use essential oils near open flames; some oils such as orange, fir, pine, and peppermint are potentially flammable. DO NOT play Doctor. It is very tempting to suggest oils for other people's ailments but we can’t. You can refer them to reference books.

My mother’s friend is always sending her emails with funny photos and she forwards them to us so my son can enjoy them. She thought it would be a good idea to print the pictures, one to a page, and then have Caleb write a few sentences about them. Caleb got a big kick out of the pictures and didn’t even mind writing sentences for them!

• Mar. 18, 2006 - Do you put God first in ALL things?
In the very beginning of time God created a garden and put in it everything Adam and Eve would need. He gave them “every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be for food for you;” (Genesis 1:29). At this point in time they did not eat any meat, even ALL the animals were vegetarian according to verse 30. Adam and Eve were “gatherers”. They picked their food and ate it. They had an easy life while they were in the garden. Everything they needed was right at their fingertips. The garden was full of all kinds of fruit trees, nuts, berries, green leafy vegetables and herbs. God knew from the beginning of time what kind of illnesses we would have today and provided plants to help prevent and heal those illnesses.
Genesis chapter two says that out of Eden flowed a river that divided into four rivers. One of them was the “Pishon; it flows around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. And the gold of that land is good: the bdellium and the onyx stone are there.” (Gen 2:11-12) Bdellium is the fragrant gum resin from certain burseraceous plants of the genus Commiphora, according to Webster, which would include frankincense and myrrh. There is a myth that claims that God gave Adam gold, frankincense and myrrh as gifts to console him for losing the Garden of Eden. That may or may not be true, but the point is that they had and used aromatic plants since the very beginning of time.
In many religions the priests and religious leaders were looked to as healers, even Christianity. When the Israelites were in the wilderness they looked to Moses when a plague afflicted them. In Numbers chapter 16 a plague was killing many people because they rebelled against God and Moses. It wasn’t until Aaron ran through the camp with a censer of holy incense that the plague was stopped. In Numbers chapter 21 the people sinned (they complained) against God so He sent poisonous snakes into the camp and many people died. So the people went to Moses and asked him to intercede with the Lord for them. Moses made a bronze snake and lifted it up where everyone could see it, as God commanded. To be healed all they had to do was look at it.
In Leviticus the people were commanded to go to the priests to be inspected and declared clean, free of illness, or unclean, having some kind of illness. When they were declared clean they had to bathe and offer a guilt or sin offering.
The people readily accepted that the disease or even the snakes were the direct result of their sin. They accepted the fact that to be made completely whole they had to make a sin offering. Yet today the idea that sin, which is a spiritual aspect, can result in a physical manifestation is considered ludicrous by most.
In the New Testament, according to Mark Jesus sent the twelve out to preach repentance. “And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil may sick people and healing them” Mark 6:13. The people repented, the demons were exorcised, they were anointed with oil then the healing came. In those ancient times people didn’t know about bacteria and viruses. They believed that evil spirits caused disease, so when the ancient writings say that evil spirits were cast out we don’t know for sure if there was actual demon present or if were some kind illness unless the situation is describe in more detail. At any rate the evil left. Certainly the healings were miraculous, but still the disciples used “tools“ given by God, repentance, prayer and anointing with oil. The oil they used might have been the same recipe given in Exodus 30 or it might have been some other aromatic healing oil. With each person the body, soul and mind were treated and healed.
In the letter from James he tells the Christians to call for the elders if anyone is sick. “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” James 5:14-16
Here again the physical healing comes along with the spiritual healing, with repentance prayer and anointing with oil.
Modern scientific medicine has removed God out of the equation completely. Modern scientific medical philosophies have “thought” us to look at the symptoms and treat the symptoms. If you have a cold run to the pharmacy and buy a pill that will make your nose stop running, or one that will make you stop coughing. Doctors treat the symptoms. They separate the physical from the spiritual and the emotional. That is not to say that we should not seek medical help when we need it, the point is to seek God first, and use the tools that He has given us.
God created everything we would need to live a healthy abundant life. He gave us food to nourish and support the functions of our bodies, but if we eat food that is distorted by chemicals and mass production then we will not receive the health benefits He intended. He gave us aromatic healing plants to protect us from disease and to help heal our bodies if we do get sick, but if we use manmade synthetic chemical drugs then we can expect harmful side effects. He gave us the Bible to teach us and to nourish our souls. He gave us a direct “person to person” connection with Himself so that we may confess our sins and ask for forgiveness. However if we do not confess our sins and live in absolute obedience of Him then how can we expect Him to answer us when we ask for healing? He gave us wisdom, discernment and understanding. We need to ask Him if sin is the cause of our illness and if it is then we need to ask Him to point out our sin so that we may repent and ask Him to direct us to the right tools and resources and He will lead us down the path of healthy abundant living. |

• Mar. 14, 2006 - One door closed, another one opened.
My business as a nail technician is not prospering like I had hoped; besides I really want to work at home. So I bought the “Super Affiliate Handbook” to learn about creating an income online. After doing some research I decided that the subject of my affiliate web site would be essential oils. So then I looked into different aromatherapy companies and found several that had affiliate programs. But the trouble was that none of the products from any of them compared in quality to Young Living Essential Oils. I couldn’t justify promoting products that I didn’t have 100% confidence in. So my web site instead of promoting several different companies promotes only Young Living Essential Oils.
I have been using their oils for years and I love them. They are not cheep, but they are effective!
A couple weeks ago I got stung on my finger by a yellow jacket. It hurt! I put a drop of a blended oil called “Purification” on my finger. To distract myself I sat at the computer to play a game. By the time I finished my game it was no longer hurting, actually I had forgotten all about it until later that evening!
Anyway please visit my site "Heavenly Essential Oils" and let me know what you think. There is lots to read if you want to learn about essential oils, you can subscribe to a free report telling you “101 Ways to Use the Essential 7 Kit”, and you can sign up for my newsletter.
Thanks for stopping by,

• Feb. 1, 2006 - Who Is Right and Who Is Wrong?
I am sure you have noticed how some experts tell you to eat a low fat diet and other experts tell you to eat a low carbohydrate diet. Some experts say eat no grain and others say eat plenty of grain products. People from each side of the fence claim to have lost weight and feel so much better. So it must be your blood type or the time of day or the combination of foods.
Who is right and who is wrong?
These are some of the questions that used to trouble me, until it finally dawned on me to look in the “Owners Manual”.
The Bible does address the issue of what to eat and what not to eat.
In the Garden of Eden they ate fruits, vegetables and nuts. What ever was there to pick and eat. All they did was wander around naming the animals, they did not have to work at all.
It wasn’t until God sent them out of the garden that they harvest grains and start to make bread. Planting and harvesting takes a lot of energy so they needed the grain.
However, it wasn’t until after the flood that God gave them permission to eat meat.
When I read Rex Russell’s book “What the Bible Says about Healthy Living” That it all finally made sense!
The bottom line is that we should eat food the way God intended us too: fresh out of the garden, field or barnyard!

• Jan. 31, 2006 - Mysterious Piece of Rock
Years ago while we were living in Indiana I found this odd “rock”. It looked like a huge tooth, a dinosaur tooth maybe! Or maybe it was just a stalagmite. Anyway it got tossed around here and there among all our stuff. Then the other day my Dad, the resident rock-hound, helped us do an acid test on it to see if it could be a tooth. The battery acid did not affect it at all. So it wasn’t calcium carbonate. Dad said it was probably silica. So much for the tooth theory.
Dad had a slice of a stalagmite; it was very sooth and not at all like our “rock”. The acid test did affect the stalagmite. So it wasn’t a stalagmite either!
Then a few days later I was talking to my mother and picked up a book that I thought was an Audubon Bird book like mine, but it wasn’t, it was an Audubon book of fossils. As I was mindlessly flipping through the pages my eyes just about popped out of my head. There was our funny “rock”.
It is a fossilized coral! A heterophrentis to be exact. Originally it was made of calcium carbonate but over the years it was replaced by silica or quartz.
Much of Indiana is sandstone, so over the years this ancient silica fossil washed free of the surrounding rock, and I found it just laying there!
My son wasn't nearly as interested in this mystry as I was but I hope he did learn something.
I will try to post a picture of it tonight.
