Day 4 - Easier?
First of all - glad to have you with us Heidi!!
Ok so day 3 wasn't as ouchie as my last bootcamp in January - I guess I'm getting stronger!? Plus, sometimes my water breaks are 1 or 2 minutes longer that the DVD 'cause I'm interupted (with 5 boys what do you expect!). Yesterday wasnt' too bad, though. My older 2 boys (ages 8 and 10) got the baby's room painted before I was done with my workout. And they did a GREAT job, too!!
I guess yesterday I didn't share what body type I am. I am a long torso, short leg/borderline combo. So that means I have the double butt cheek to rid myself of and the thighs, too. But I lose inches in my tummy fairly easily. TIP ALERT One of the trainers, Lynnette, shared with me once that to help butt, whenever you do plie's slightly lift your heal when you straighten your legs. Teresa does this all the time - look closely!
Tip of the day - What is hip width apart? from p.54 of Fit and Fabulous
Hip width apart is rarely as wide as people think it is. For proper placement, try this: Place our left foot forward and your right foot perpendicular to it with the heel of your right foot resting against the arch of your left foot. With the ball of your foot on the floor you need only pivot your right foot so that it's also facing forward. This is hip width apart.
2nd Tip of the day - How far to bend the knees?
Stand with your toes against a wall. Now bend your knees until they also touch the wall. This is how bent your knees should be through the entire T-Tapp workout.
Many Blessings to you today as I pray for you
