Day 4 - Easier?

Posted in T-Tapp Workout
First of all - glad to have you with us Heidi!!

Ok so day 3 wasn't as ouchie as my last bootcamp in January - I guess I'm getting stronger!? Plus, sometimes my water breaks are 1 or 2 minutes longer that the DVD 'cause I'm interupted (with 5 boys what do you expect!). Yesterday wasnt' too bad, though. My older 2 boys (ages 8 and 10) got the baby's room painted before I was done with my workout.  And they did a GREAT job, too!!

I guess yesterday I didn't share what body type I am. I am a long torso, short leg/borderline combo. So that means I have the double butt cheek to rid myself of and the thighs, too. But I lose inches in my tummy fairly easily. TIP ALERT One of the trainers, Lynnette, shared with me once that to help butt, whenever you do plie's slightly lift your heal when you straighten your legs. Teresa does this all the time - look closely!

Tip of the day - What is hip width apart? from p.54 of Fit and Fabulous
Hip width apart is rarely as wide as people think it is. For proper placement, try this: Place our left foot forward and your right foot perpendicular to it with the heel of your right foot resting against the arch of your left foot. With the ball of your foot on the floor you need only pivot your right foot so that it's also facing forward. This is hip width apart.
2nd Tip of the day - How far to bend the knees?
Stand with your toes against a wall. Now bend your knees until they also touch the wall. This is how bent your knees should be through the entire T-Tapp workout.

Many Blessings to you today as I pray for you

May. 24, 2007 - Day 10 complete

Ok, I'm revamping my plans a bit and have decided to do a 10 day bootcamp, then take a few days off before starting TWO and doing a bootcamp with that. I had my incision rechecked on Tuesday and doc said that it was healing great, no more infection, it looks wonderful and I can continue what I'm doing so I'm going to switch to TWO on Sunday or Monday depending on how I'm feeling (my sister and her family will be here to time will be an issue also.) I will measure tomorrow and let you know if any thing changed!

Steph - Glad your incision is doing well! I think about you when I do TTapp Twist - I think you're fortunate that you can't do it right now!!

My day 4 felt easier - I hope it's not because I wasn't engaging my muscles!!

Hope you are all hanging in there!!

Well, it was easier overall, but my thighs (lower, outer, above the knee) still hurt. But it guess it's called WORKing out for a reason, right? :-)

I'm still with you...I just did through TTN today as I had to stop and blow my nose so much. I am thinking that I will take one day at a time and do as much as I can without losing out on form.

Today was quite a bit harder for me as I am exhausted, but I did the whole workout. All I really wanted to do was nap. My husband has been really supportive of this and encouraging me to meet my goal, too.
I am really starting to see a difference in muscle tone. I tend to carry alot of muscle, but even my kids noticed a difference when they came home from the Smokey Mountains today; they asked if I was on a cleanse or something because I looked thinner.
Actually, my diet has been not so good this week, but it could have been worse, too. I have let myself splurge a time or two and plan on doing better starting next week.
Well, weigh in and measurement are in the morning--I guess we'll see...

Well, I got through day 4 and I can say that I am really tired! Maybe tomorrow will be easier. Sounds like the rest of you are doing great! Keep it up.

Day 4:

I was more sore when I began than when I finished today. Also, I have given up on trying to do it at 5:30 am because I have been so tired from not going to bed early enough - so I have been doing it in the evening. Wow, do I sleep good!!!
