Day 6-7-8 The Loooong Weekend

Posted in T-Tapp Workout
I am so glad to hear that you feel as energized as I do! Must be some rebuilding of muscle going on. I can truly see how and understand why you really could use TTapp the rest of your life!

Kimberly brought up an interest point in response to my last message - that of inch loss without pound loss. I have experienced this very much. My scale has not moved. Since January I've lost at about 1 1/2 clothing sizes (about 10 inches overall), but not one pound. So, I found this to encourage you - from Fit and Fabulous, of course!
p. 74 "During a boot camp, there's a significant exchange of fat for muscle, and although it varies from person to person, in my twenty-five years of teaching T-Tapp, I've noticed statistical patterns. The average person will gain 5-7 pounds of muscle within one week, and at the same time lose seven to ten pounds of body fat. The exchange may not show on a scale, but it will be revealed in inch loss. That 5-7 pounds of muscle is intrinsic muscle core - and that's what will stoke that new fat-burning furnace at an average of 250-350 calories more per day without any change in diet. But you must T-Tapp at least 4 days in a row to get that internal core density."  Can you say Stoke that Furnace! I think we're all experiencing this!!

Tip of the Day - Pimary Back Stretch! p. 89 Fit and Fab
"I consider  Promary Back Stretch to be one of the most important, if not the most important, movement in terms of how much it can help the body help itself build or rebuild neurokinetic and lymphatic function.  Primary Back Stretch offers a multitude of health benefits, such as better circulation, better lymphatic function with less swelling, improved mental clarity and fewer headaches, and improved energy for those with autoimmune disorders. Isn't it amazing how 3 minutes of muscle movements can do so much?!"

Hang in there, Ladies! It is all worth it . . . for YOU!

Hm, well, I haven't really checked in...as there hasn't been much to report. I didn't notice day 3 being harder so it made me really wonder about my form. I am REALLY trying to do it right. I just realized today wow, I have done it five days...haven't done it today. I have been doing it late b/c I put it off. I am not ususally like that with exercise. I have been trying to atleast add lunges after the BWO+ but I end up giving up. I think moving on to inst 2 is way hard. I did do some lunges yesterday but only the first two moves of the lunges. Does that make sense? I think I found out too that my shoes really are too big.....but nothing can be done about that right now.......I can tell that my "old trusty" jean skirt is looser but my smaller one well, I cold wear it but not comfortably. Doesn't look bad but I am more into comfort than looks as far as that goes so I will wait. :) Thanks for reading. :)

Need some encouragement? I just measured and in 6 days of
BWO+ and SATI (because I measured 4 days into my
bootcamp), I've lost 2 inches and 3/4 of that was off my
hips! Wahoo!!!!!!!!! Now I'm curious as to how much it
would have been if I had measured before I started. It is
possible ladies....keep it up!

Pennie - Don't worry if day 3 wasn't harder! Just push it to YOUR personal max and you'll always get results!! Hmm who does that sound like? And don't fret about going to Inst#2 right now. Just concentrate on BWO+ and as you get stronger and rebuild your core, you'll be able to go on in no time. You should have seen me trying to do HoeDowns in the beginning!! I was a comedy routine.

Stephanie - Thanks for the encouragement in inch loss! Less is MORE with TTapp!!

Today I rewarded myself for completing my ttapp goal. Instead of a regular workout I went swimming with my family for a couple of hours--it is so hot here and it felt great! I think that it is important to integrate exercise into your lifestyle whether it be swimming, hiking, boating or gardening. It teaches your kids good habits and sets a good example for them.
I have to work the next couple of days, but plan on starting back Tuesday with ttapp. My goal is to also watch my diet a bit closer this next week. I would really like to see further fat loss in the coming month.
I have really enjoyed reading the daily emails and comments--you guys are great.

May. 26, 2007 - Another late night...

well, I got it done, but it's late again. I don't really like working out late at night, but it's better than not working out at all.
I soaked in the tub with some Dead Sea Salts afterwards. I've had noticable body odor the past few days that I think is a detox symptom as my body gets realigned and functioning properly. Usually I don't have this problem at all. Has anyone else noticed any symptoms like this?
Thanks for the reminder about the PBS. I want to get into the habit of doing that first thing in the morning. That move alone gets me energized!!

Well, I'm done with my bootcamp. I only got 5 days in, but I lost 3/4 inch on my abdomen - my baby pooch! So I'll be doing it rather sporadic from now until the middle of June since we have company coming. Keep on going, ladies!!
